FET in 1 month

Hi all! I stumbled upon this community while googling preparations for FET and I hope I can get some mental supports here. I am scheduled for FET in around a months time (exact date depends on when my next period is). I am getting extremely stressed (and even the slightest things works me up) even though I’ve been telling myself not to be stressed and just be chill.

Anyways, i just want to get some advice from everyone here who’s gone through this and see what you recommend in terms of exercise and diet that can boost my chances of success.

Thanks and really looking forward to you advices!!

Re: FET in 1 month

  • We had our first frozen embryo transfer in may of this year and it was successful!!
Advice: do NOT stress over every little thing you do. If it doesn’t work or doesn’t stick, it was nothing you did. Every clinic ranges from what you can and can’t do, especially with exercise. My first clinic didn’t let me exercise until my 6 week ultrasound, but our second clinic said return to daily life and my normal exercise next day. And if you start googling, you will see there is a WIDE array of recommendations from normal exercise to no exercise entire first trimester!!
I will say, if you are someone to blame yourself if things don’t work out, follow your clinics guidelines to a T. You don’t want any reasons to have to blame yourself. My OB described it this way: “the restrictions are given because they don’t want you to have anything to blame yourself on if things don’t work out…just don’t go do an Ironman in your two week wait.” Literally!!
Obviously the big things like no alcohol etc, but just try to be normal and do what you’re comfy with.
