  • I had my first ultrasound last week. Baby measured a few days behind my LMP but matches up with when I think I ovulated and had a heart rate of 176.Β

  • I had early glucose testing yesterday because my bmi is over 30 (i failed). Because I was so stressed between the testing, feeling like a failure already and just overall hormonal and anxious, the NP was sweet enough to do an ultrasound to put me at ease. Baby was far too active to get a picture of it's face, but we got baby feet! 13w3d

  • @cmill828 I'm sorry your glucose testing didn't go well. Will you have a longer test like the 3 hour test to confirm or do you have to start on diet/testing protocol? The GD journey is not a fun one, but at least they caught it early. Be kind to yourself because it's just a thing that happens in pregnancy, it's nothing you can control. I have heard from others that have had to begin GD protocol to ask for a continuous glucose monitor, it is apparently something your doctor can order for you so you don't have to poke yourself a million times a day to test and I've heard makes the journey a lot more bearable. Something to think about at least. I'm glad you got to see your little one!
  • Ultrasound sounds were booked pretty far our so I fi ally got to see my baby and hear their heartbeat at 13w 5d. Lots of moving around, but we were still able to snag a pretty good picture!
  • Can anybody guess what this is?! πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ Little baby was putting on a show. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  • @dinomeetsjedi I go back in 2 weeks for 3 hr glucose testing. And even if I pass, they'll make me redo the testing at 28 weeks. The glucose monitor is an excellent idea, I will definitely bring that up at my next appointment. Thank you for the suggestion!

@katies1213 there's no denying that! How funny πŸ˜‚
  • Got a pretty decent profile shot!Β
