Period or implantation bleeding? Help!

Hey guys, I’m really confused right now. My period was supposed to start around 4-5 days ago and then yesterday, I started to bleed but it was really off. Usually my cycle is super super heavy, like filling 4 ultra tampons a day for two days and then a medium flow for the last day, accompanied by massive cramps that double me over… this time it’s been super light and a water consistency and it lasts for a few hours and then either stops or spots for the rest of the day, it’s had a few clumps but just from overnight and sleep. It’s also a really weird color. Normally really dark but now it’s like bright red almost orange on the tp. The cramps have been super manageable but they are wrapping around to my lower back and when they are starting to pass I’ll feel like a warming/tingling sensation kind of like pulling. I’m having other abnormal symptoms as well but they could just be a random period symptom like most pregnancy symptoms are this early… I’m just super confused. I got a faintly positive test and then a negative digital test last week. Do I need to take another when the bleeding stops? How much blood is too much for implantation?

Try a pregnancy test again and see what happens.
I just went through almost the exact same thing and I have major symptoms before and after the bleeding. I tested too soon and it was negative and now I had one that didn't show anything. But what you described is what I had about 2 weeks ago and I was also 5 days late. I also have periods like you described and this time it just stopped after like 2.5-3days.
