Trying to Get Pregnant

WTO w/o July 10

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Re: WTO w/o July 10

  • Month/Cycle: 8/8

    CD: 10

WAYDTGKU: BBT, CM, OPKs, Acupuncture, hopefully BD ED starting today

R/R: Various things have kept us from being able to BD so far this cycle and I got a positive OPK this morning, so it looks like I’m ovulating early. Hopefully we can still get good timing.

CS/Q: Not super interesting, but here it is:

  • @britters314 I’ll be moving over to TWW shortly also… get in the BD!

    Month/Cycle: 17/14 AL

    CD: 20

    WAYDTGKU: all the things

R/R: having a me day today and I’m so excited about it! Had an iced coffee this morning while the cable guy was here (some things weren’t properly installed when our house was built), then went grocery shopping. Picked up lunch and am watching survivor as I eat ❤️ I swear since I found out all the seasons are available on paramount plus, I’m obsessed!

CS/Q: moving to TWW in the next few days. O is today I think!

  • I’m probably going to be hanging out here for awhile. 😒

    Month/Cycle: 12/ 7

    CD: we’ll call it 13

WAYDTGKU: meeting with the RE on the 7th, waiting on some testing,

R/R:  I’m stuck. We are okay, and have food and water, but we can’t get there from here due to flooding - there being basically anywhere.

    CS/Q: none for now!

@ejoseph16 good luck in the TWW!!!

@britters314 my new RE offers acupuncture!

  • @charmedlifex3 Oh no! I hope you can get out safely soon!
  • @charmedlifex3 Ooh that’s nice that you can get it through your RE’s office! Are you planning on trying it out?
  • @charmedlifex3 sending you a huge delayed hug.

    @britters314 & @ejoseph16 ooh go ladies!

Hey ladies just a quick update and lurker hey 👋 We’re 5/5 now but benched for thyroid again, and since we are moving next spring we’ll be benched for even longer so due dates don’t fall close to our move.  Details in spoiler.

My TSH stopped responding to the levothyroxine dose so we upped my dose for a third time and won’t recheck for another 6 weeks this time.

I wrote out a whole thing that TB didn’t save but the TLDR is MH is having like a midlife crisis and was a complete jerk (I wanted to use a much stronger word here) on our vacation, and I’m just deflated after my TSH results, angry we’re back to TTA via NFP (I hate it), angry I had my IUD out, angry we thought we had a shot at this and have been using time and emotional energy toward it.  I’m feeling ready to schedule a vasectomy and close this chapter. Even if we correct my thyroid issue, my RPL history will still be there.  I’m just feeling done today.

  • @britters314 I think so- we need to see how much of what insurance will cover and how much it costs.
@virginiaham I keep going back and forth on our next steps too. Half the time I’m done forever, half the time I’m ready to take the next steps NOW and half the time I’m ready to cave into my husband’s ask that we look into adopting. RPL is devastating.

  • @virginiaham I’m sorry that you’re still dealing with your thyroid and you are on the bench for longer than planned. I’m also sorry your husband ruined your vacation with his bad attitude!! Your comment really resonated with me. Right now it feels like it would be a miracle to be able to get pregnant again, but I know that based on my loss history I would only have a 50% chance of keeping it. Sometimes makes me want to walk away from this whole thing.
  • @charmedlifex3 @maggiemadeit I’m sorry ladies.  I wish TTC could be an exciting thing.  It’s so heavy.
