Quad screen says 20% chance of down syndrome

Hello ladies,

I’m needing some advice or possible feedback. This is my first pregnancy. It’s been a journey to get here. Ive had 4 losses before this pregnancy. Currently 16 weeks pregnant. I did the NIPT test and it came back inconclusive twice. So my doc sent me for a quad screening and came back 20% possible for down syndrome . Was very upsetting. I honestly don’t believe in my heart my child has DS. Has anyone been in this situation ?

    I've been in many situations with statistics before from an extremely premature baby to personally having a stage 3 cancer diagnosis. You have to flip the statistic. You have an 80 percent chance everything is right as rain. Focus on that.
    DX PCOS + mild male factor
    TTC since Dec. 2015
    Current Treatment: Metformin, Provera, Letrozole, Trigger, IUI
    Past Treatment: Clomid + Metformin x 3 BFN
    Letrozole 5 mg + Trigger shot + IUI = BFP!
    Beta confirmed 8/22
    EDD 5/1/17

    Thank you for your reply! I hope all is well with your health. I have decided to wait for my level 2 ultrasound and not do another NIPT test or do an amniocentesis. 🙏🏾❤️ all in gods hands.
