How do you know if you're a contributing member?

1. Ask your heart if you have contributed positively here.

2. Do these people know you? Will they be happy about your pregnancy?

3. Have you offered support to others or have you just blasted your own info out there?

4. We ask that you only post here if you have been participating meaningfully here for at least three months. Sometimes the silence is kindest. Those of us who lurk BMBs will see your intro and PM/comment/love tit.

5. Again, take a moment and step away from your excitement and ask your heart if posting would be potentially hurtful.

CD/DPO of first BFP? I’m 5dpt5dt Cautiously optimistic but I don’t go for my beta until the 16th. I tested out my trigger shot a few days ago.

How many months/cycles had you been TTC? Honestly I can’t remember. We tried from 2015-2019 and I never had a positive result. I had a bilateral salpingectomy in 2019 so we obviously didn’t keep trying until we did our first IVF. We had our initial consultation in January of this year and I had my ET last Friday.

How long have you been an active participant on the TTGP board? (minimum: 3 full months) I was a participant back in 2015-2017 but I thought I was done trying. I came back under this username in April because I remember this being a science promoting no-nonsense board. I was sick of seeing all other boards post pregnancy tests (and some even show pictures of blood or CM 🤢)

What did your chart look like? No chart

What were you doing TGKU? We did IVF ICSI. We had one embryo make it to the blastocyst stage. Unfortunately the other embryo that fertilized did not make it and degenerated. I also had an acupuncture appointment the day of my transfer. Have no idea if it helped but I thought it couldn’t hurt to try!

How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any? (CS & CD breakdowns welcome) no real symptoms except for a few cramps. I did not have any implantation bleeding as far as I know. I am also taking Prometrium and that makes me feel hot flashy and gross.

How are you going to/did you tell your partner? They know because I don’t get any privacy trying to discreetly POAS.

Anything else to add? It feels very surreal seeing a BFP for the first time in my life.

CD/DPO of first BFP? CD 28/ 11 dpo

How many months/cycles had you been TTC? 7 months

How long have you been an active participant on the TTGP board? (minimum: 3 full months) since Jan of this year, and prior since 2016 or 2017?

What did your chart look like? Wasn’t temping, but OPK and CM lined up for O on day 16 or 17.

What were you doing TGKU? Trying seed cycling, vitamin C supplements, and DH upped his workout routine.

How was your timing? What symptoms did you have, if any? (CS & CD breakdowns welcome) timing was great, -2, -1, +1

How are you going to/did you tell your partner? Showed him asap. Tested 2 days later, line was darker. Got both betas back, and we’re doubling! Cautiously excited!

Anything else to add? Still processing this one. The unexplained IF diagnosis, and a CP and failed transfer from our two remaining embryos earlier this year did not lead me to expect this! But, feeling cautiously excited and staying hopeful!
