33 Weeks- 1cm dilated 50% effaced

So I’ve been to L&D twice this week for possible preterm labor, lots of cramping Braxton hicks generally feeling not good and in pain. Both times I had a handful of contractions but nothing serious. No UTI no Infections. It’s my second baby, but is 1cm dilated and 50% effaced already a concern like he will come early? Anyone else experience this?

I was in the same position! I was terrified baby would come early and we couldn't be ready. Ended up having to be induced bc I was late!

That makes me feel so relieved! I’ve been praying everyday he hangs out for at least 3 more weeks!

I hope so too! I stayed 3cm and 60% effaced with baby fully engaged for almost 10 days when they finally induced she came out in under 4 hours! Good luck!
