Infertility

Help with IVF please

Hello everyone, I just turned 40 and my husband and I have been trying to somehow have a child for over a year now. It is a very difficult process because around us it seems as if everyone gets pregnant easily. This puts me to shame, I feel like I'm inadequate. Every day I get angry at myself for why you waited so long if you only tried it earlier.
Have any of you over the age of forty become pregnant with IVF or other interventions? Please share with me.

Re: Help with IVF please

  • I understand that you're feeling frustrated and discouraged about your journey to conceive. Many individuals over the age of forty have successfully become pregnant with the help of assisted reproductive technologies like IVF (in vitro fertilization) or other interventions. While it can be challenging, it's important to remember that fertility varies for each person, and age is just one factor among many. Seeking guidance from a fertility specialist can provide you with personalized advice and options tailored to your specific situation. There are various fertility treatments available that can increase the chances of pregnancy, such as IVF, using donor eggs, or other assisted reproductive techniques. It's important to consult with a medical professional who can assess your individual circumstances and provide appropriate guidance and support.

  • Hi, I'm really sorry to hear your story. It's important to remember that you can't blame yourself, as this is not your fault. Personally, I know a few women who were able to conceive naturally or through IVF or IVF with donor eggs, even at an advanced maternal age.
