Spotting at 31 weeks

Is it normal to be spotting  in the third trimester. It’s not bright red and I don’t have any pain. I feel the baby moving around and it’s only when I wipe when I use the restroom. The spotting is more light pink. 

I had red spotting at 27 weeks when I had sex went to the ER they said everything was good, baby was good and cervix is closed. This was at 27 weeks pregnant. 

I had sex at 30 weeks pregnant and I spotted again like I was at 27 weeks so I stopped having sex in general, the spotting stopped after 7 days. Then I went to the bathroom to make a bowel movement and started spotting light pink and have been since Friday. But sometimes throughout the day I stop with the light pink spotting and then it continues again a couple hours later. 

(No the spotting does not fill up a pad/panty liner and I’m not pouring blood out of me either) 

Just asking has this happened to anyone??? 
I’m a first time Momma.

    I'm 29 weeks and I have experienced spotting for a few weeks now (almost every day). In my case, my obgyn told me not to worry if it doesn't fill a pad. But if you are worried, talk to your doctor. They know your situation the best. ☺️
