Any reason for swelling in only one leg?

Is this pregnancy related? I have painful swelling in one leg and foot. Just my right side. With tightness feeling numbness and chills like in my calf leg and foot. I do have gestational hypertension and diabetes. I haven't had real swelling at all. Now I'm 38.5 weeks and this had been happening slowly since 36 weeks. Now even in my sleep swelling doesnt go down.

You should call your doctor. Idk about in only one leg, but sudden swelling can be a sign of preeclampsia.

I hope you have called your doctor or gone to ED. Could be a DVT
