Has anyone measured behind at first ultrasound? (With a heartbeat)

Had my first ultrasound today - measured 5w6d when i should be 6w6d according to ovulation -positive opk on 5/25. Got to see the heartbeat, fetal pole, and yolk sac. All equivalent to 5w6d. I know i when i ovulated and it was super late as it was my first ovulation after my postpartum period. Definitely can’t go by lmp (4/26) because im still breastfeeding on top of everything, which leads to long cycles. I got a bfp 8 days after ovulation on 6/3 so really pretty positive about my dates! I have to go back in two weeks and i’m terrified because i had a mmc before my daughter ☹️ please help

    I measured almost a week behind at my first couple of ultrasounds. We used IVF, so there's no doubt about dates. He slowly caught up over the first trimester, then ended up 9 pounds when he was born. He's now a healthy 6 month old.

    I was supposed to be 8w0d at my sono Monday. Baby was measuring 6w4d with heartbeat of 118. Naturally I panicked. However the sonographer stated because my periods are irregular and generally are 35-40 days, the likelihood of me ovulating after day 14 is high and she was not overly worried. As my first child was born at 34wk via C-section I do have an OB appt tomorrow just to b e cautious. I’d by lying if I said I wasn’t already overly nervous and worried about the baby’s progress but I am trying to stay positive.

    Yes going thru this exact situation right now! I’m suppose to be 8W2D but the doc said I was measuring right past 6 weeks, but there was a heartbeat. we have another ultrasound scheduled for Friday, so I’m hoping we get a better idea of what’s going on :/

    Even if you know when you ovulated, you can’t be sure of when implantation occurred, which can happen any time between 6-12dpo. I’ve had my dates be off by a week+ and still went on to have healthy, full term babies.

    So grateful for this thread. Just found out yesterday I’m measuring a week behind (yesterday was supposed to be 6w6d, but doc said I’m exactly 1 week behind). No heartbeat yet because it was too early so I go back a week from today.
