Upcoming appointments: 06/21 for midwife check up and blood check of baby. 06/28 for ultrasound since baby seems big. I also need to call and schedule my whopping cough vaccine
How are you feeling: I feel great! Other than pelvic pain, I’m 100%! This has oddly been my best and easiest pregnancy so far. I can easily forget I’m pregnant.
Rants / Raves: I am finally feeling ready to start preparing for the baby. And not feeling motivated to work at all. 😅

A floral dress. It’s my go to. Short in summer or long in winter.

How are you feeling: uncomfortable sleep so tired. Groin pain/ minor swelling.
Rants / Raves: I purchased a second hand crib/toddler bed for my daughter to move in to this summer and in the pictures it looked white. It’s pink. I got a good deal on it so I’ll just paint it but it’s a daunting task I really don’t feel like tackling.

How are you feeling:
Mostly good, with the occasional pain depending on how the baby is laying. I don’t remember this from my other pregnancies!
Rants / Raves:
Both of my kids have pink eye, so we’ve been working from home with them here. 0/10 do not recommend.

I tend to reach for bright sundresses in the summer, and knit sweaters with jeans in the winter. I have entirely too many oatmeal colored sweaters.

How are you feeling: yesterday i had terrible sciatic pain for the first time, and was just hot a miserable. i have a lot of work stress at the moment. today i am feeling better and very thankful for it.
Rants / Raves: we just got my daughter a twin bed and mattress, splurged on some pb kids bedding that is partially backordered. but super excited about it, her toddler bed will go back to being a crib for the baby after we are done with the baby in our room. they will also share a room once baby is in the crib, so making sure her room is somehow both a little girl's room and neutral if baby #2 is a boy. we also got family/maternity pics set up for 7/22 at the beach, and finally got in touch with the photog who did our newborn photos to get a date penciled in for those. glucose came test came back at 62 mg/dl, which is actually low. so i def have zero guilt over the oreos and sour patch kids, lol. my OB does a repeat CBC panel and STD panel as you approach 3rd tri, so all well there.

Upcoming appointments: July 17th unless I failed my glucose test on Monday, but my Dr generally operates on a “no news is good news” policy so idk how long results usually take.
How are you feeling: 3rd trimester is catching up to me. I can’t complain for the most part, but I definitely feel bigger, am moving slower, back to being tired all the time, Braxton Hicks are picking up…is it September yet?! 🥴
Rants / Raves: My daughter has always been a great sleeper and never attempted to climb out of her crib so we never took her out of it but, now that we need it for baby brother, we just moved her to her big girl bed over the weekend. She is now in the bed I had as a child and she has done PHENOMENALLY with the transition. We are so proud of her!! My only rant is that she has developed a fear of thunderstorms and they WILL. NOT. STOP. Seriously, it storms at some point every day.

Y’all are making me feel extra bad and frumpy lol I put on real clothes when I go into the office (rare) or we have a special event to go to (also rare) but, otherwise, I’m in maternity athletic shorts, an oversized t-shirt, and doing everything in my power to avoid an underwire bra 🙃

Rants / Raves: I had my glucose test yesterday (and passed!) so I drank the drink, showed up to the lab 40 min later (they said arrive 45 min later) and there is a huge line of older people. I have never seen this lab so busy before, it’s usually like one other pregnant person every time I have been there. So I go to tell them what I’m there for and I couldn’t even talk, the guy stopped me and told me to sit and wait in line…..🙄 so 10 min passes and I have 10 min left before the hour and I just cut him and some other guy off and I was like I have 10 min left to the hour of drinking the glucose drink. Are you going to listen to me and take my blood? Then, they scrambled to get me in on time thankfully! I went to my ob appt after that and complained about how bad the lab sucked! I also had to get my rhogam shot yesterday which I had to get blood drawn before getting the shot so if I missed the test, it would have delayed even more! So frustrating! I wish my ob just had their own personal lab so we didn’t have to deal with the outside world of ob stuff lol.

Upcoming appointments: 7/5 for ultrasound with MFM to check on the placenta due to my history of placenta accreta, then 7/6 I have my glucose test in the morning, which is the 2 hour test and I'm not sure why, then rhogam shot, then in the afternoon I have my regular OB appointment.
How are you feeling: the usual plus swollen feet and sore hips and back. My echo and heart monitor came back with no major concerns, so that's good, just need to push through the next three months.
Rants / Raves: can't think of anything in particular at the moment...I'm tired.
