How are you feeling? The last two days I've felt great.
Raves/Rant: none really
Questions: tonight I experienced my tummy getting really hard and tight. It lasted two minutes. I think it was related to how I was sitting in the recliner. I've since moved and I'm on my side and drinking water, trying to relax. Anyone else had this happen? I'm trying not to freak out because I went in labor at 26 weeks with my first. Started with Braxton hicks. I can't decide if what I just felt was that or something else. I might call my Dr tomorrow to be safe. I'm too anxious for all this!
DX PCOS + mild male factor
TTC since Dec. 2015
Current Treatment: Metformin, Provera, Letrozole, Trigger, IUI Past Treatment: Clomid + Metformin x 3 BFN Letrozole 5 mg + Trigger shot + IUI = BFP! Beta confirmed 8/22 EDD 5/1/17
Upcoming appointments: check up tomorrow, hoping for NIPT results (longest 7-10 days ever!!)
How are you feeling? Pretty good I guess. Still sick and tired lol but I'm use to that now. I have a bit more heartburn now and it feels like my food sits in my esophagus.
Raves/Rants: nothing to get too excited about at the moment.
Questions: Anyone else feel the need for extra support while sleeping yet? Like pillows? My hips are starting to ache and if I lay on my back it's hard to get a good breath so I'm trying to avoid that.
Upcoming appointments: 16 week appointment on July 3rd.
How are you feeling? I’ve been designated a high risk pregnancy now. Not because of any actual issues, but they just want to monitor due to a surgery I had a few years ago. So I’ll get a growth scan once a month. Yay for seeing baby girl often and fingers crossed everything continues to develop normally.
My nausea seems to be lessening. I still take my B6 regularly, but it doesn’t seem to come on as rapidly if I’m a little late. Still pretty tired.
Raves/Rants: We are starting to do some shopping for essential items we want to buy ourselves and starting to build our registry. We got our car seat and crib is in the way. I’m excited to start getting the nursery set up. My plan is to have it mostly ready by the end of second trimester.
@clt2pwm11 Yeah, I had that in my first 2 pregnancies as well. I'm sure it's totally normal, but with your history it makes perfect sense it makes you nervous. If you're still nervous about it, definitely call your doctor. My last pregnancy was traumatic and my doctor has been wonderful about taking an extra minute to check on "issues" that exist only in my anxiety
EDD/Weeks + days: Dec 21 / 13+5
Baby is the size of a(n): potsticker
Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: I should find out this week!
Upcoming appointments: Just had one today. We were supposed to discuss my NIPT results but they got delayed. At least I got to see baby hiccup Next appointment in 3 weeks.
How are you feeling? Sweaty and constipated. Not much I can do about the sweaty (no AC), but my doctor said constipation is strongly linked to stress and it's likely worse this time because of my history making me anxious. She told me to try to relax and eat fruits like peaches, watermelon and pineapple.
Raves/Rants: Not really a rant, but I'm bummed my NIPT results were delayed. I was mentally prepared to discuss that today. Plus we're planning a pregnancy/sex reveal this weekend and it would be a bit anticlimactic without the results
Baby is the size of a(n): The Bump says naval orange and my app says pear.
Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: Pink!
Upcoming appointments: Next Monday for the 16 week appt.
How are you feeling? Pretty good - still making our way through sharing the news with close friends/family. It's starting to spread within people, so we definitely need to just get on telling the rest of the people we need to tell.
Raves/Rants: None this week.
Questions: What should we be focusing on first? I feel like we haven't really started planning for her actual arrival yet...we don't even know which room we're going to use for the nursery and I'm starting to feel behind.
@dmcg17 I would start with picking a room and getting it cleared out and cleaned for baby. Paint it while you still feel like it haha! We were not planning for another, so we have no space. This Baby will be lodging in our room until our new house is built! Praying that doesn't take too long!!

How are you feeling? Finally feeling like this is real 🥰
Raves/Rants: my dog has had bad diahhrea over the last week 🤮 to the point where he couldn’t sleep through the night. Considering it baby training and boy we are in for it😅😴
Questions: how are y’all dealing with the overwhelming amount of choices when building a registry? 🤣
@dogmom512 I get overwhelmed with all the choice too!!! I’ve decided to tackle one category at a time. I started with car seat. Did all the research (aka googling) and made my selection. Then I moved on to crib. Same thing and moved on. I’m trying to get the big items out off the way early. Either buying them ourselves or putting them on a registry. It’s my first pregnancy but I’m quite certain that I’m going to be miserable in 3rd tri, so trying to knock out as much of the to-do as I can in the next 2.5 months.
Update! Got NIPT results back today and baby is low risk for all anomalies and it's a girl. I would have been happy with any healthy baby but I already have 2 boys, so I'm extra happy today. Looking forward to announcing to family this weekend!!
Regarding registries, I've never had one. We got what we could second hand and let friends and family buy clothes (because EVERYONE wants to buy clothes ). I also chose to wait and see what I needed for a lot of things, so I requested gift certificates. That worked well for us.
Team Green/Team Blue/Team Pink: green, going to be surprised when we meet him/her!!
Upcoming appointments: next Monday for ultrasound. Lowering my expectations because my last appointment was five minutes in and out to make sure the baby had a heartbeat, so not sure how long I'll get this time!
How are you feeling? Nausea is still a huge factor in my day, even with B6. The good news is that even though I feel sick and have to manage my intake to reduce the nausea, I haven't vomited in five days!! Hope it keeps improving, cuz these meds keep me tired!!
Raves/Rants: I'm frustrated with how my ob office has brushed off my concerns re sickness and fatigue and offered no alternative medications. They have given me an attitude of 'lay back and take it' when I told them that I could barely get through a day without crashing and being sick, suggesting to increase the medication that would make me crash. My ob is highly recommended by friends, family, community for avoiding unnecessary c-sections and being an overall experienced, good doctor, but I'm missing any tlc
Questions: anyone else fighting through diclegis? Super fatigued and hard to function
