HCG tripled in 48 hours...

Hi all. I'm still VERY early: 4 weeks, and my edd is 30 December.

Anyone have their HCG triple in 48 hours? I got a + on 10dpo, went for a blood test on 11dpo and it was 31. Had another blood test at 13dpo (yesterday) and it was 101! Is this normal? Did anyone else have this, and what was the outcome? I'm 40 years old and this is only my second pregnancy (first was an ectopic in 2018) so I'm freaking out over every little thing... Ill be gojng foe my first scan at 6 weeks, due to history, age, etc

HCG should at least double every 48-72 hours for the first 5 or 6 weeks. With how early you are your numbers look good.

I tested super early and had similar numbers... had to go in three times for my hcg to get high enough for my OB to set my first prenatal appointment. Went on to have my son.

I hope the weeks fly by until you get a good peek at baby.

hi! just received blood work at 4w 5d. HCG was 950 miu/ml within range around 5w 😊 this is my first go around checking HCG levels as I had a miscarriage in January so, checking for some peace of mind before my first ultrasound. I could have swore my NP said levels double every 24 hours but, google tells me different. any insight?

Me too! I'm worried about twin! lol this is my 1st pregnancy . I'm 38yrs old I found out at 10dpo and got my numbers test at 14dpo it was 300 and then 4 days later at about 1900 and then 2 more days it was at about 6000! Going for my scan on Thursday so we will see! Good luck..

I’m also expecting a Dec 30th due date. Tested yesterday at 10 dpo and was surprised to see a pretty strong line first red line test (eeks, Twins possible?!). Calling my doctor tomorrow to start the blood draw / appt set up.

Because I'm obsessing a bit, I redid my bloods on Monday (4 days after the last) and they came back 881! Going again tomorrow... I'm really hoping that this bean sticks! 🤞

My bloods came back at 3664, so still doubling every 28-30 hours, it seems. Hopefully that's a good sign?

Just wondering what happened with your scan I’m goin through the same thing and my scan isn’t until the 27th and my anxiety is going crazy not knowing did you find out if it was twins or not?

You can check her profile to see her other discussions. It looks like she sadly had a miscarriage, so she may not be back to answer your question. She never mentioned twins, so it was probably a singleton
