Nail salon

Is it safe to go to the nail salon while pregnant? I read somewhere that the fumes aren’t “safe” and that infections are heightened if the technicians don’t sanitize the tools properly.

    I don't know about if it's "unsafe" as I have seen plenty of pregnant nail techs working throughout; however, they always wear masks and gloves which I would think makes a difference. I had to stop getting my nails done around 4 months along with my first because all the smells made me nauseous and lightheaded so that may be something you want to consider.

    I’ve heard that they should be safe as they should have the ventilation properly to clean the air. However, if concerned I’ve heard to go earlier in the day vs at the end of the day.
