@ccp211 I’m still pregnant here but started a slow induction today. I’m 40 w and 3 d. They placed a cook’s catheter in me today and let me go home. We have to return to the hospital if I go into active labor or water breaks or by 7am tomorrow.
Still pregnant here too! I'm 2-3 cm dialated and have been having some painful contractions today, but nothing consistent enough to go into the hospital. Fingers crossed it'll only be a couple more days for us!
@ttc3y fingers crossed for you!! Sounds like exciting things are happening!
@alusyn the contractions that go nowhere are so frustrating 😩 hoping those progress soon!!
@marmalade0 I’m in the same boat! No true signs. Haven’t lost my mucus plug or had any bleeding. Might try doing nipple stimulation later this week to see if that can help get things going. We’ll see!
I'm still pregnant as well. I'm 41+3 now, hoping for natural, but if nothing started they will induce on saturday to avoid risks to my baby due to placental issues. Labour signs come and go and have done so since saturday a week and a half ago.
Hi there! It sounds like you're eagerly awaiting the arrival of your little one. It's great that you're keeping an eye on any potential risks and are working with your healthcare provider to ensure a safe delivery.
As for how to spend your days, I can imagine that it's easy to get bored when you're waiting for something as exciting as giving birth. However, there are plenty of things you can do to pass the time and keep yourself distracted. Here are a few ideas:
Get some fresh air: Take a walk outside or sit in your backyard (if you have one) and enjoy the sunshine. Fresh air and a change of scenery can do wonders for your mood.
Read a book: Pick up a new novel or revisit an old favorite. Reading is a great way to escape into another world and take your mind off things.
Treat yourself: Take a relaxing bath, get a prenatal massage, or indulge in your favorite snack. You deserve some self-care during this time!
Stay connected with loved ones: Call or text friends and family members who can offer support and encouragement during this waiting period. They'll be excited to hear updates and share in your excitement.
Remember, it's important to take care of yourself both physically and mentally during pregnancy. And before you know it, you'll be welcoming your little one into the world! Best of luck to you.
