Help! OPK positive, when should I trigger?

Hello! Yesterday I had a ultrasound and my follicle measure 18mm in the afternoon. I was sent home with instructions to trigger the next night around 7pm. But she essentially said I could trigger anytime the next day.
I woke up this morning and did my opk which was positive for a surge. Now I’m wondering if I should trigger this morning instead of tonight.
What would you do?

    Ask your doctor. I'm sure part of it depends on what you're doing- medicated TI, IUI, IVF? I know for IVF I needed to trigger at an exact time, no more than 10 minutes earlier or later, or they would cancel the egg retrieval. There's way too many variables for anyone on the Internet to have any clue. You need to follow the doctor's orders on this.
