How are you feeling? Like shit. LOL but par for the course. I know it'll peak in the coming weeks. Overall I think I'm handling it better than last time though.

Rant/Rave/Questions: nope

Are you going to do anything different this pregnancy than your previous ones? Not really. It's our last kiddo, but I don't think I'll be doing anything different. I'm just enjoying it as much as I can!

Rant/Rave/Questions:

this feels like forever to wait for a doctor visit lol. Weve known for just over two weeks. Before we could switch our insurance type because of pregnancy and I would have to avoid the military hospital but I guess they stopped that several years back. The first apt is a group “class” almost two weeks out about what to expect with the hospital and to gather some basic info about prior pregnancies….which they already did over the phone. Its mandatory to attend this and then afterwards they will schedule the ultrasound. I feel like I’m further along than my EDD but I’ll most likely need to wait until the end of May to confirm.

Not really. I’m working now so that’s new compared to my others.

How old is your other kid(s)? 18 mo son

How are you feeling? Crappy. I’ve been nauseas 24/7 since just after 3 weeks, I’m exhausted, my nipples are so sensitive after my son nurses I feel like I’m feeding a newborn again. My lower back goes through bouts of pain and I can feel some round ligament pains I think already. I was not this sick this early or at all with my son so it’s rough. My scan is at 7w3d and these next two weeks are gonna feel like forever.

Rant/Rave/Questions: I’m worried about loss and about multiples at the same time! Twins run in my family and getting sick so early has my mom yelling twins! I also can’t be in the backseat of a car now, or I puke so that’s fun

Are you going to do anything different this pregnancy than your previous ones? Oh most definitely. With my first everything and everyone was all about the baby, this time I’m making it about me. We’re keeping it a secret from most people as long as we can and having a private gender reveal just the two of us. My last pregnancy was so stressful I just want peace with this one. I also plan on having a Mothers Blessing rather than a baby sprinkle or something.

How are you feeling?
Tired and hungry. Not much morning sickness yet although I had it by this point with my last pregnancy. I also has morning sickness a few days before my missed period but now it's gone. Trying not to worry and be patient for my first appointment at the end of the month.

Rant/Rave/Questions:
I just want sushi and medium rare steak!! 😩 I told my husband I could still have cooked sushi but he's afraid of cross contamination in the area where raw sushi is made and he won't let me.

Are you going to do anything different this pregnancy than your previous ones?
Last pregnancy was in the height of the pandemic so I didn't get any professional maternity (or newborn) pictures so I'm looking forward to that. We also didn't find out gender last time but will at the anatomy scan this time.

@storkin30s omg that sounds so frustrating about the appointment. I've never heard a first appointment being a group thing. UGH! So weird.

@knottie I'm sorry your last pregnancy was stressful. Fingers crossed for the most boring 9 months ahead of you. I don't even have twins running in my family and I always go in worried that it's twins to my first ultrasound LOL. Always relieved when I hear, just one sac LOL.

@jordieburd You could always ask them to use clean mats and knives. I often do this because I have an allergy to dairy so if they made like a philly roll that could send me to the hospital.

I keep telling myself it’s totally normal for symptoms to be heightened the second time around but I’m so nervous about multiples LOL 2 weeks until my scan and we can confirm!

Size of baby: Measuring 8+6

How old is your other kid(s)? Almost 2

How are you feeling? Better than I remember feeling last time, but pretty queasy most of the time. It doesn’t help that my toddler is having a major mommy only phase and sleep regression.

Rant/Rave/Questions: I’m really nervous that I won’t bond with baby or that I might even resent the baby for taking time away from my daughter. I know it’s a normal fear, but it feels all kinds of awful.

Are you going to do anything different this pregnancy than your previous ones? Trying to keep up with strength workouts to avoid the brutal hip pain I had last time.
