RE doesn't want to remove Hydro

Hi everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster!
My husband and I have been TTC for 1.5 years. We got all of our diagnostic texting done, and everything looked good except for a hydro found on my right tube during HSG. RE did not want to remove it, so we went through 3 IUI cycles (2 medicated, last one with injectables) - all failed.

Now, we are about to move on to IVF. I asked my RE if we should remove the tube before starting because there's a lot of info online regarding the fluid build up reducing chances of implantation and increasing complications should something implant. He said they would only remove the hydro if it was really big and you could see it on an ultrasound (which, so far, we have not).

Anyways, I do really trust my doctor, but I feel like... if there's even a CHANCE that it could mess things up, why not just remove it? It makes me feel anxious about starting IVF knowing that there is ~*something*~ there that could hinder the results. I am a person who doesn't ever want to be "difficult", but I'm wondering if this is something I should maybe push back on and fight harder for.

Anyway, just wondering if any one else has gone through anything similar, or can offer any support.
Thanks so much!

First, I know nothing about hydro. However, this does seem a bit like a general medical decision making question. I understand hesitation to remove your tube. Removing any body part should be a decision made with a lot of thought and caution. Once it's gone, it's gone and you're stuck with the consequences. They said, you get to make your own fully informed medical decisions. Ask your doctor for the pros and cons of removal so you have the information to make your decision. You can also always seek a second opinion. If your doctor isn't listening to and respecting you, it's time to find a different one.
