Ultrasound 5w+5 — too early?

We had our first scan done last week at 5w+5. The doctor seemed seemed happy with everything and I will return on Tuesday for a follow up at 6w+5 for what they believe we could be a good time to see a heartbeat. I’m an IVF patient, so the early scans are routine. They noted the “white line in the shadow” (top left) is a good sign. I’ve been driving myself crazy all week. Has anyone had early scans like this and had a successful pregnancy?

    You said you are IVF - This is typical.  If you went to a private boutique scan then it would be ridiculous this early.  

    Why do you thinkbthere is something going on?  You said the doctor was happy - go with it.  Congrats!

    It looks like so many others see a more developed yolk sac at this time. I’m just fearful that this doesn’t appear to be further along.

    What is your beta?  I saw just a gestational sac on my ultrasound and was worried as well.  The doctor didn't seem concerned and said everything looked good for how far along I am.

    There's not much to see at 5w and things are changing daily. If your drs are happy take that and run.
