A friend made us black bean burgers on the grill with homemade chipotle aoli yesterday and it was honestly the best thing ever. It’s all I want now. Black bean burgers with everything please lol.

Can anyone recommend any good quality cotton maternity dresses? I have a few Target ingrid and isabel dresses, but they start to look so worn and faded so quickly (maybe I dont wash my clothes correctly? haha)

Now that I’m feeling better, I’m having the overwhelming urge to purge lol. I bought a medium moving box from Walmart yesterday. I’m going to fill it at least once a week with things to either toss or donate. This house is going to look like a minimalist house when I’m through with it lol. Nothing is safe. I want sparse and empty looking lol. We are outside people. I don’t even know what all this stuff is for or how we accumulated it 😂

One of my gfs keeps commenting on my pregnant body. She has officially crossed the line and was talking about me to my HUSBAND at school pickup (I was not there). She asked when we were announcing and my DH kind of shrugged and gave a non-committal answer, something like "maybe 20 weeks" (he has no clue lol) and she went "But she's gonna be be so big by then!!! And so squishy!!". She continues to make comments about how I won't be able to hide my belly much longer, making gestures in public rubbing her belly aggressively when she sees me, I'm honestly in so much disbelief at her lack of awareness and just how rude she is. I completely regret confiding in her at this point and she's made me feel so self conscious, I want to crawl into a hole or kick her ass, I can't decide.

@Kiek When you're done purging at your house, can you send that motivation my way? Our house could use it lol.

@mrsmtothek Oh my gosh, I would be so upset/mad at her. I would definitely have a conversation with her about boundaries, and how she needs to stop immediately. She can't actually think it's okay to comment on your size (regardless of pregnancy status) and call you/anyone squishy?? If she's talking that openly about it, how many people has she already told?

@mrsmtothek I’m so mad for you! Pregnant or not there is no excuse for talking about someone else’s body! Especially calling it squishy… ewww. I hope you’re able to talk to her about how that’s making you feel and she stops!

I’m pretty sure we are going to be making a big move not long after baby is born. It’ll involve significant downsizing for a while (permanently if it’s up to me 😂). So I guess this overwhelming need to start purging came at a good time lol. I’m excited, though. It’s something we’ve wanted for a very long time. I love living near the ocean; however, the mountains have my heart and I can’t wait to get back there. I will definitely miss the mild winters and early spring, though lol.

@Kiek we are in the process of moving and I'm trying to really purge things while we're packing up. I'm not sure I'll be successful because MH has an emotional attachment to everything, but I'm trying to get rid of stuff when he's not paying attention

Doing pizza and moving night tonight with DH and our 3.5 y/o son. Any movie recs from this group that both mom/dad might enjoy too?

Also, it oficially happened last night that my son started talking in an autralian accent from watching too much Bluey.

@nomangos23 have you seen Mitchell’s vs the Machines on Netflix? DH and I love that one and I feel like it’s underrated bc it was a Netflix original but it’s really good!

Also I’m wearing my Chili “Mum” shirt today 🤣 I love Bluey, the kids do too but I probably like it more than them

+1 for Mitchells vs the Machines! The Bad Guys was also great and we saw the newest Minions movie in theaters which was cute. I love the Sing! movies too - all on Netflix.
