Seeing as this ended up in Baby Names, I will say I’m not a fan of Bowie. Beau with the nickname Bowie could be a good sort of side step, but your kid will likely never appreciate being named after David Bowie as much as you do, and I don’t feel like it is a grown up name.

I think it is too strongly associated with David Bowie. Kind of feels like a dog name to me.
