Anyone with morning sickness yet?

Anyone who’s due in October experiencing any morning sickness or nausea yet? I’m 5 weeks and 1 day pregnant, none for me…. Yet

Re: Anyone with morning sickness yet?

  • No morning sickness yet either :) feeling a bit of abdominal pressure if that makes sense
  • Loading the player...
  • I’m due the 9th and nothing yet, however, I did get motion sick in the car today for the first in my life
  • No, not exactly. Definitely some minor queasiness here and there, but that's all I had with my last pregnancy, too.
  • None for me either! Mostly just having some cramps/abdominal pressure.
  • I’ve puke twice. First time on friday and second time yesterday. Both times it was while I was brushing my teeth so I think it was because of gagging?
  • Queasy here and there
  • I’m almost 6 weeks now and don’t have any morning sickness yet either! I’m sure it will change though as I started getting morning sickness around 6-7 weeks with my first pregnancy
  • I’m 7w and I’ve been increasingly queasy since the week before I tested positive. I constantly feel like I have motion sickness 🥴
  • I get something called hyperemesis gravardium (HG) - it’s similar to morning sickness in the same way a thunderstorm is similar to a hurricane.
just as heads up to first time moms what it is and it exists. - putting it in a spoiler and TW for pregnancy complications

HG is extreme morning sickness, and often dismissed as “normal” by some providers. HG hit for me on Monday- I went from feeling OK to throwing up over 100 times in under 12 hours. This is not “normal.” If you experience this please please seek emergency help, fluids, antiemetic medication. If your doctor isn’t supportive- get a new one. The HER foundation has a list of supportive providers on their site. My first pregnancy my provider dismissed my concerns and I ended up in organ failure, had to deliver late pre term, and was needlessly miserable. I lost 30lbs through my last pregnancy, and it lasted all the way up until just after birth.

  • I’m 6+2 and I am so nauseous all the time 😭
  • I'm due 1st Oct and I'm nauseous constantly. Definitely affecting me to do my day to day activities. It's not even vomiting in the morning it's just the constant need to wretch and no matter what position I sit or stand in I always feel nauseated
  • Due oct 12, I’m so sick with waves of nausea. 4th baby, and man, as soon as I got a positive test with any of my babies, it’s like the day later I was sick and with all my babies it lasted my entire pregnancy! This one I wasn’t sick until 6 weeks! Today is 6w3d ;) best of luck mommas!
  • I am 8 weeks and 1 day. Some slight nausea here and there but that’s about it? I keep waiting for morning sickness to come and so far, nothing but some uncomfortable nausea every once in awhile. Had my ultrasound sound today and baby is doing good.
  • I’m at week 7 and the nausea has definitely picked up this week. It feels constant :(
  • I’m due 10/15 and the nausea has been debilitating…all day everyday for the last week! At least my doctor said this is a good sign that the pregnancy is progressing well
  • 8 weeks today and only had a day here and there where I was nauseous, but both happened after we had a late lunch the day before and skipped dinner that night. Mistake, don’t skip dinner lol.

  • Jumping in to commiserate. Nausea hit right at 6 weeks on the dot, and it has been ROUGH. Lately driving in the car has been close to impossible.

  • Last night was the first night I actually thought I was going to puke (5 weeks and 5 days today), but I’ve been feeling just… full mostly, as if I hate 5 huge meals even though I’m not eating any more than I normally do, probably even less than normal! It was a miserable night because I HATE puking and I’m the type to do anything to not throw up, so here’s hoping I end up being one of the lucky ones with no real morning sickness!
  • 6w1d. Nausea has kicked in. I'm almost always feeling nauseous. I have not puked but it hits me at any time of day or the middle of the night 🤢. I find preggie pop drops (b6 lozenges) really help me.
  • I had some nausea a couple of weeks ago, not too much, just a couple of nights where I felt awful and threw up. However, I do seem to have some new food intolerances! I love avocado, but now even if I eat a tiny bit, I have severe stomach cramps (definitely stomach, not uterus). I don’t know how I’m going to go 7.5 more months without guacamole… 😭🤣
  • Currently 8w3d and still no morning sickness here. I’ve had an upset stomach here and there but no real nausea
  • I was bed ridden and so nauseous from week 4.5 to week 9.. I am now 9 weeks and 5 days and the past week I have had hardly any morning sickness. I am concerned that this is a bad sign. I had a miscarriage in August and another one in 2019. I have NO other signs of miscarriage.

I did have an early ultrasound a couple weeks ago at 6.5 weeks and they said I don’t need to be worried. Baby was growing on track and had a strong heartbeat of 132bpm. I can’t help but worry though since my morning sickness was so strong and then stopped….

I have another appointment tomorrow and hope to hear baby’s heart. Anyone experience nausea stopping before 12 weeks??
  • Never skip dinner. I stupidly ate taco bell at 4pm yesterday and it made me feel sick so I went to bed hungry (my eating schedule is weird being in retail). I woke at 3am with insane stomach pains and starving/weak. I ate a half of a banana and a bite of a protein bar and I threw up almost instantly. I'm 9w5d. Nausea comes in waves but has been pretttttty rough this week.
  • I’m 7 weeks and today was my first time ACTUALLY throwing up. Before this was a lot of dry heaving. It was early in the morning and the smell of the dogs food sent me running. I had an empty stomach so eating after was rough.
  • Im 11 weeks now and hoping and hoping it will end soon as I move to the second trimester. Im so sick of being sick! Urgh. I feel bad complaining because I’m happy to be pregnant but I can barely keep anything down and feel so tired and nauseous.
  • I’ve only thrown up a few times, but the past week I’ve had this constant awful taste in my mouth and every now and then feel like I’m on the verge of puking… Surprisingly my appetite hasn’t gone away, I just can’t eat too much or I’ll definitely throw up. I’m also starting to feel the heartburn starting up (that was my worst symptom with my first two babies). I’ll be 11 weeks on Saturday.
  • 9 weeks here. Almost constant nausea that only subsides with snacking and I throw up about every other day. I also think I'm starting to get some heartburn too. The midwife prescribed me vitamin b6 and Unisom. They sent a script for 25 mg of the vitamin b6, but it is on order. I tried to just buy it over the counter, but the smallest they had was 100mg, and I didn't do so well with splitting it into fourths...
  • I am 12 weeks in a few days and just finally feeling a bit better and able to eat more. Fingers crossed we’re all over the horizon soon!
  • Has anyone else been prescribed vitamin b6 and unisom? I tried it out last night, ended up sleeping really well and waking up still tired. Wondering if it's too strong for me? On the up side, I didn't throw up today...
  • My doctor said I could try Unisom, but I haven’t yet. I’m on a progesterone supplement, which I take right before bed because it makes me dizzy. I think that has been helping me sleep—last night we had awful storms, with hail and crazy wind, and I completely slept through it all! 🤣
  • I just hit 13 weeks today and I still get waves of nausea + throw up a few times a day. Really hoping and praying it is over by week 14. My biggest thing is if I go too long without eating, I’ll throw up. But NOTHING sounds yummy. I have food aversions to almost everything. This is really difficult :(
  • @lindz42 I am prescribed the combo and when i started taking it I would wake up very tired still as well. But stick to it because it really helps with nausea and you’ll build a tolerance! Nap if you can. It’s been 7 weeks and now I’m able to take half of a unisom (12.5mg) with a little b6 twice throughout the day and still function.
  • Does anyone drink mint tea? So I tried it one day and it worked good for the nausea but I’ve been seeing conflicting articles about if it’s good or not for first trimester. Wondering if there is anyone that has used it and nothing bad happened
  • @mamaruby - I don’t drink the tea but I chew the PUR peppermint gum. I’ve always been a gum chewer but it keeps the funk taste out of my
mouth and keeps the nausea more at bay.
Also discovered I can’t eat beef of any kind so since I realized that I have felt SOOO much better. I am 11 weeks 4 days.
