Choroid plexus cyst

I just had my anatomy scan today and they told me my daughter has cysts on her brain. I did genetic testing and it came low risk for everything. They are saying these cysts are common in babies who have trisomy 18, but they don’t see any other issues or abnormalities with my daughter from her ultrasound. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Hey @mtz071412, good to see you back here. Just like last time, we try to discourage one-off posts on the board, because it can get cluttered pretty quickly (especially when the app isn't super user friendly and multiple threads of the same thing get posted!). The mega questions thread pinned up top is a great spot for this, or even the ultrasound thread. You'll probably get better discussion in one of those places.

    My friend is 8 weeks ahead of me and her baby has one as well. It can be a marker for a chromosomal issue, but same as you, she'd already had genetic testing so they've assured her everything is fine. Our friend who works in Neurosurgery told her that it's just one of those things they *have* to tell you if they see it, but otherwise they wouldn't really mention it considering it's very likely to not be an issue.

    I'm almost 23 weeks. At 19 weeks my anatomy scan showed the same thing.  Yesterday my ultrasound with the maternal fetal specialist found no cysts.  They said a lot of times they disappear. I'm also advanced maternal age
