Progesterone pills 1st trimester

My progesterone levels at 6 weeks were 13.4 which I know is at the low end of average for 1st trimester, however my doctor said since it is below 20 they prescribed 100mg of progesterone pills a day, anybody else have something similar happen ? third pregnancy but never had to take this before.

    Yes, my second and third pregnancies (this time) I’ve had to take 100mg of progesterone, due to low levels. Mine were actually lower than yours (10 this time and I think 9 with my second baby), and my second baby is a healthy 6 year old, and so far this baby seems perfectly healthy! I’m 11 weeks now, my doctor said to keep taking the progesterone until 14 weeks, when the placenta will be fully up and running and making its own progesterone.
