Trying to Get Pregnant

IF Testing & Treatment w/o Mar 27

This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility, and it becomes a whole new ballgame. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say. Treat this as an ongoing conversation.

Re: IF Testing & Treatment w/o Mar 27

  • Diagnosis (if you've been): No diagnosis, just no luck.

    Status (TI/ICI/IUI/IVF/FET/benched): TWW

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): First cycle of Letrozole, really tried to time stuff well and managed to hit 4 days in the fertile window, so 🤞🏻

How are things going?: Getting anxious as we get close to the end of my cycle. I’m on Day 33 and my “normal” is 36, but who knows how the Letrozole might change things.

Any questions?: Not at this time.

GTKY: What’s your favorite place you have traveled? Probably South Africa. We went for our honeymoon and got to work hands-on with big cats. It was a crazy experience!

  • Diagnosis (if you've been): unexplained

    Status (TI/ICI/IUI/IVF/FET/benched):FET, I hope

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?):FET, I hope

How are things going?:meh. Slow start to the cycle - wondering if the pill delayed things. Will find out more and reassess on Thursday.

    Any questions?:nope

GTKY: What’s your favorite place you have traveled?  Probably New Zealand though it’s a hard choice!
  • @dmcg17 fx for you! South Africa is on my someday list - sounds amazing!
  • Diagnosis (if you've been): ama, left tube is occluded, repeat pregnancy loss

Status (TI/ICI/IUI/IVF/FET/benched): benched following a d and c last week.

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?):  waiting for my next cycle. We can try naturally once my period returns, and medicated cycle after that.

How are things going?: I’m SO sad. We are also in the process of moving, but without a solid plan as to WHERE or WHEN. We’ve got a list of several towns and we are planning to buy (or maybe build) but probably lease for another year. I’m feeling really unsettled, grieving but also without this foundation of what the future looks like.

    Any questions?:

I love Portsmouth NH. We are actually moving very close to that area which I am excited about. It’s the right balance of mountains, ocean, city and country.

  • @charmedlifex3 big hugs. That uncertainty is the worst!

this is starting to feel like a choose your own adventure experience. US today showed progress, yay! Tech said come back Saturday. RE called and said Monday if I want, or Saturday if I want, and either way call if I get a +OPK. Saturday vs Monday feels like a big difference…
  • Wow you all are very well travelled!

    @halfanewt Exciting!

@charmedlifex3 I grew up in NH not far from Portsmouth and I love it too! Hubby and I have been thinking it would be the perfect place for a quick weekend getaway.

    Diagnosis (if you've been): RPL

Status (TI/ICI/IUI/IVF/FET/benched): Trying naturally. Intake appointment next week!

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Testing will start next cycle

How are things going?: Okay. Not putting too much hope on this very weird cycle I am having. Maybe my old ovaries got spooked when they heard I was taking them to a specialist? Lol

    Any questions?: NATM

GTKY: What’s your favorite place you have traveled? I really love Amsterdam. I used to work for a company based there and would travel there a few times a year. The city is cool and the culture
