In Store Baby/Maternity Places

Hi!
Not looking for specific product recommendations, but looking for any where to go in store to find baby or maternity things.
The Targets in our area I have all of two partial crib set ups. I’ve been in 2 Buy buy baby store on trips with limited selection, and the most maternity clothes I can find are at Kohl’s, but everything is gray, striped and a good 50% more expensive than their other clothes.

We are planning on having more kids, so trying to actually get quality items that will last for them all is getting difficult. Where have you found luck in person finding cribs or cute maternity clothes?

Re: In Store Baby/Maternity Places

  • I wish you luck... I don't have any good suggestions really outside of target/buy buy baby. I did a lot of Babies R Us shopping with my oldest but obviously those are long gone now. If you have a motherhood maternity near you that may work well for maternity wear, but I've heard they can be pricy and not necessarily worth it? I've only ever had a few tops from them over my three pregnancies and they were fine, I got them from a local women's resale shop, but not anything I would pay $40+ for brand new. You might try resale if you have any in your area for clothes!

  • I'll be honest, I go to goodwill for maternity clothes and have found some really nice items there! I also have purchased on Amazon and that's been pretty good!
  • I had to buy a few things this time around I went to Target and Kohl’s. I just got leggings and a couple t shirts. Plus 2 pair of jeans, one I’m going to cut off into capris bc I’m not having anymore babies after this one.  But yea baby/maternity stuff is hard to find now that babies r us is gone.
  • Not in store - but I had really good luck getting maternity stuff on thred up and Poshmark. Otherwise target and Amazon for basics. Target was the only place I could find physical maternity clothes. Good luck!
  • I'll just echo what others have said. The places I found the most stuff in person were consignment sales/shops and mother hood maternity. I find the quality from motherhood maternity and even pink blush to be lacking. I have found a couple of things in person at Target but not really at the Target closest to me unfortunately. I was so surprised the first time around. Especially since the maternity sizes often run s,m, l, etc instead of the numbers I was used to. I really wanted to try stuff on and see in person.
