Long Distance Gender Reveal

We live far from anyone in our family, and we don’t really feel like traveling for a gender reveal. I get to find out soon, since I’m getting the Qnatal test done next week, so I’m trying to think of what to do. I think I’m going to bake some gender reveal chocolate chip cookies, with either pink or blue in the middle, and then have our parents FaceTime with us when they bite into them. To speed things up, I may even send both colors ahead of time and tell them to bite into Group 1 or 2 cookies, depending on the results. 🤣

Any other creative ideas for long distance gender reveals??

    I found these duck bath bombs on Amazon that you put in warm water and wait for the color to show. I’m going to send to a couple of my nieces that live across the country!!

    So, just a fun follow up: I decided to make cake pops, instead of cookies, and they went over so well! I sent both colors (bc I didn’t know the gender when I mailed them, lol), labeled secretly, and told them today which bag to open and bite into. It was so sweet and fun! I’m so thankful for the technology of FaceTime, lol.

    We did our gender reveal over the weekend too! We had our dog lick peanut butter off of a pink lollipop while all the grandparents and uncles/aunts to be watched over Zoom. It was silly and fun!
