  I have not done it and do not plan to. I have heard that it is very easy to cross contaminate with male DNA if you’re not very careful.

  I’m getting genetic blood work drawn 3/31 that will include gender. I’m sure they have better cross contamination policies. 😀

  At 10 weeks, my OB did the cell free DNA test, which is the blood test that tells you about any chromosomal abnormalities as well as the gender! If they are able to detect enough of the baby's genetic material in your blood, this test (if done by a reputable hospital) can be even more accurate than the anatomy scan, because the chromosomal makeup takes out any guesswork of trying to identify via genitalia.
  
  We got our results back last week and found out we are having a boy!

  Thanks! @knottie6937a3c300371620 it took about 4 business days to get our results back. Originally my doctor said it could take 10-14 so I was pleasantly surprised at the quick turnaround!
