I just wanna tell someone!

So I am very early. Probably around 4 weeks and just found out Monday. My boyfriend and I are soooo excited but have agreed we won’t tell anyone until the doc appointment. However it is so hard!! I want to tell everyone. Also I quit smoking when I found out which has been incredibly difficult but I am so proud of myself! And I feel like if I tell anyone I quit smoking they will figure out I’m prego so I’m celebrating alone with my boyfriend. So I just had to get that off my chest. Congrats to all the other mamas out there and if anyone has any tricks for quitting nicotine while pregnant I would really appreciate it!!!

    Congratulations! I wanted to wait too but with my job I had to tell them when I found out. I’m not going to post to social media until after first appointment.

    It is so hard not to. This is my third pregnancy. First two we were very tight lipped until all was safe. My second one ended in a TFMR late (20 weeks) after we had waited to tell because we thought everything was "good." I've told some folks this time. if we lose the baby we'll tell them that anyways. i will not make an announcement though for quite some time.

    Hi! First of all good for you for quitting the smoke! Congrats!! That’s a huge milestone! I quit a loooooong time ago cold turkey, and never looked back. I know that is easier said than done, but look at you go! Keep that in mind, and keep breathing through cravings :) You got this!👍👍👏👏🤭

    Great job quitting smoking!! I’ve never smoked so I can’t imagine how hard it is, but I have heard stories and I am so proud of you for doing that for your baby! So important. ❤️❤️❤️

    Ha. I was in the same position! My husband is quite superstitious so preferred that we didn't share widely. One thing that I did that was SO FUN was join a peer support program that meets weekly via Zoom calls. I needed one place a week where I could vent and also get excited (depending on the minute). Find one facilitated by a midwife or OB though - they are more legit.
