I'm so pissed. My Milkmaker's prenatal ginger tea arrived today and I gave it a try. It's delicious, helping with my nausea, I'm ready to buy 3 more bags. Curious self goes to check the reviews, only to discover *GASP* lemongrass (which is in the ingredients) is not advisable for pregnancy. For gods sake.

EDIT: I checked the label on my bottle and it seems like they changed it from lemongrass to lemon peel? Who knows.

Today I scarfed down a Big Mac in the Walmart parking lot😂. Everything makes me want to vomit. I’m barley hanging on to it lol. But I just needed a Big Mac. I haven’t had one since I was a kid and never liked them 😂. Today it instantly made my nausea go away and it was so good 😂

I feel this so much. When you satisfy a craving and it doesn't make you want to puke it's the biggest win!! and always curious for things you never generally consume lol

@mrsmtothek that always happens to me 😂. With my oldest I craved mushrooms during my third trimester. I couldn’t stop eating them. I HATED mushrooms even while I was eating them lol. But after she was born I liked them and have like them ever since 😂. Pregnancy is weird lol.

This might be the day I start vomiting. I don’t think I’ll hold out much longer 🫠. Normally I’m okay in the mornings but I’m barely hanging on this morinc 😬

did you throw up a lot in your previous pregnancies?

I'm wondering the same, when the tipping point will be. Even though I never actually threw up from morning sickness before, the nausea is way worse this time than it ever was.

I can't keep my eyes open today. I leaned back in my desk chair and closed my eyes and here comes my youngest tapping my shoulder (it's spring break and I work from home) - "Mom...don't you have work?". 😒🥱

@mrsmtothek oh yeah lol. I threw up all day every day with both my girls. With my youngest, my almost 2 year old would follow me into the bathroom and mimic my vomiting noises 💀💀💀. Mickey Mouse clubhouse raised that kid for a short season 😂

My kids got the stomach bug this week 🫠. I had to laugh at my husband a little because between being in the marine corps infantry the first part of our marriage and then being an over the road pipe fitter the next part, he’s only been consistently home the last 2 years. So he’s never actually experienced a stomach bug in this house except maybe once many years ago. I looked at him last night and was like, buckle up, you’re next 😂😈. Then he was like, what happens if you get sick? And I was like, I will literally feel exactly how I feel every single day right now. It will make zero difference 😂💀

I love a good bratwurst. And tator tots. So that's what was for dinner. Or so I thought. Of course the nausea kicked in as I was cooking. The only thing that could settle my stomach was a side of cantaloupe.

Got a call from the OB's office this morning. They wanted me to come in today for a nurse visit because they're concerned about my blood pressure (it was high when I was at the ER the other day, so I fully expected this). They decided to double my labetalol prescription and, since we've already got the intrauterine pregnancy confirmation from the scan at the ER, they went ahead and referred me to the MFM specialist now instead of waiting for my first official OB appointment. So that's one thing out of the way.
