Lower stomach pains

in 2nd Trimester
20 weeks just did my scan yesterday and within 15 minutes I had a terrible pain on my lower right side of belly and it slowly spread across my whole lower belly and lower right side of my back
Kinda like a cramp pain but not exactly, not sure how to describe it, hurts to touch it or lay on my side or stretch, hurt to strain too
Steady pain all yesterday and last night, eased up earlier today and now getting bad again

Any idea what this is??

    That’s really weird and I would ask your doctor. Maybe if they were prodding around during the scan it stimulated your intestines and moved things around and now you’re feeling constipation pain? I know that sounds so weird, haha. Sometimes just having sex or pushing gently on my stomach to try to feel baby will kind of move something and I’ll have gas pains for a while or need to poop. 
    That is a long time though. I really don’t know.

    OP hasn’t logged in since December. The member you tagged wasn’t OP. Anyhow sounds like round ligament pain to me.
