  • What number are you trying for? 2

    Month/Cycle? 6/5

    WTO/TWW? WTO

    Ages of other child(ren)? 3

Any thoughts about this cycle? If it happens it happens. I REALLLLYYY was hoping to avoid Dec/Jan due dates due to been there, done that, it was an utter shit show, no thank you, but here we are. LOL.

Any questions? Any one else have kids that have kiddos with close birthdays? Could you put my mind at ease that it isn't as stressful as I'm picturing it in my head?

    Rant/Rave? See above

GTKY: What is something that you do for yourself each week that would be hardest to give up? Coffee. Definitely coffee.

Any thoughts about this cycle? Hopeful!

    Any questions? Nope

Rant/Rave? Combined - fun long weekend to surprise my dad for his birthday. Not looking forward to the flight home today with this head cold congestion!

GTKY: What is something that you do for yourself each week that would be hardest to give up? Reading!

@stashattack my kiddos are not close in bdays, but I have quite a few friends that’s deal with it. Not a big deal for them, and when they’re little you can even reuse some basic birthday decorations!
  • @stashattack Within a 2 month period, we have both my kids’ birthdays, my nephew’s birthday, both my parents’ birthdays, and H’s birthday. It’s really not stressful. But we also don’t do gifts or parties for our kids. Instead they get to pick an activity, like a trip to the zoo or something.

What number are you trying for? 3, but first two are adopted / being adopted

    Month/Cycle? 4/4

    WTO/TWW? WTO

    Ages of other child(ren)? 4 and 5

Any thoughts about this cycle? Eh I’m kind of losing motivation. I’m feeling more pulled adopting again. I have some meetings with adoption agencies this week so we’ll see how those go and if I change my mind.

    Any questions? Nope

Rant/Rave? I said this in the WTO thread already, but I’ve got a migraine that’s been coming and going for a few days, so that sucks right now.

GTKY: What is something that you do for yourself each week that would be hardest to give up?  My kids have outgrown naps, but still get 2 hours of quiet time in their rooms. They’re outgrowing that now too, but I’m not ready to give it up yet lol
  • What number are you trying for? #4

    Month/Cycle? 14/ Natural Cycle 3

    WTO/TWW? TWW

    Ages of other child(ren)? 10, 8 and 5

Any thoughts about this cycle? not really

    Any questions? Nope

Rant/Rave? Why I have cramps always

GTKY: What is something that you do for yourself each week that would be hardest to give up?

  • What number are you trying for?  2

    Month/Cycle?  3.5/4

    WTO/TWW?  TWW/WFAF (12 dpo)

    Ages of other child(ren)?  2.5

Any thoughts about this cycle?  We did the BD on my 3 most fertile days this cycle, so according to most statistics, we have maximized my grand 5% chance of conceiving at age 41.  Yay.

Any questions?  Will we ever get our daughter out of diapers?  We are trying so hard!

Rant/Rave?  Potty training + daylight savings time + transitioning off my anti-anxiety meds = TIRED.

GTKY: What is something that you do for yourself each week that would be hardest to give up?  If it's something I do just once per week, it would be sleeping in every Saturday morning while DH gets up with our daughter to do the weekly grocery run - one of her favorite activities!
  • @stashattack We have a few of these in our family. My daughter’s birthday is right after Xmas, and we have her party later in January so she can celebrate separately from Xmas. My mother, myself, my son, and my niece all have birthdays the same week. We typically get together for “birthday weekend” but we also celebrate my son’s birthday separately on the actual day.

@britters314 Quiet time is so key! My kids have outgrown naps but we still do QT too.

@geekprincess26 That’s a lot all at once, good luck!

What number are you trying for? 3

Month/Cycle? 21 months since we started, 7 months back TTC again

    WTO/TWW? WTO

    Ages of other child(ren)? 7 and 4

Any thoughts about this cycle? It is what it is lol. Would love to be those people who magically get pregnant right before seeing a specialist but I’m thinking it’s probably not going to go that way…

    Any questions? NATM

Rant/Rave? I know everyone says this, but my kids are truly the best. They are so cute and so much fun. I love seeing them grow into their personalities.

GTKY: What is something that you do for yourself each week that would be hardest to give up? Exercise. It’s the only way I have found to manage my anxiety. You do not want to know me when I am not working out.
  • @maggiemadeit that makes me feel better, especially since y'all are also right around christmas. It's such a hard time of year and through now our loss, plus her birthday, plus setting boundaries around boomer parents that are being selfish about how THEY want to spend christmas has been so hard. It just feels like that time of year is getting more stressful as the years pass. Hopefully it gets better.

    @geekprincess26 ugh you got this!

    Month/Cycle? 3/3

WTO/TWW? WTO? I think today or tomorrow is O

    Ages of other child(ren)? 2

Any thoughts about this cycle? Meh? Lol. Still have today and tomorrow.

    Any questions? Nope

Rant/Rave? Just insane how busy life has been, but oh well!

GTKY: What is something that you do for yourself each week that would be hardest to give up? Reading! I couldn't live without my books 🤣
  • @britters314 2 hours?  Wow, Supermom!  FX that we can get our daughter to do that once she gets a little older.  Quiet time is part of the essence of my husband's and my little introvert souls.

@bserena and @halfanewt I would have said exactly the same thing, except that I took the question too literally and thought it meant an activity I did only once a week!

AFM, I reset to day 1 of our fifth cycle TTC today.  I had a 13-day luteal phase last cycle, which is the longest I've ever gone, and I really thought it might have happened!  I'm still stinging a little from the disappointment, even though I knew this process would take more than just four cycles.  Ugh.
  • Ugh, TFAS is so much harder than trying for a first. H and I have been so tired lately because of our 5 year old waking up at 4
or 5am every day so we have not been BDing, like, at all. I’ve still got some time before O, but idk if we are going to get good timing. Anyone have any tips for getting a kid to sleep in?
  • @britters314 I wish I knew the answer. I miss morning BD so much, but my youngest is more reliable than an alarm clock at 6am. We sometimes BD in the middle of the night if we both are up at the same time, like 4am style 😂
  • DH often wakes me up for 3/4am sex. I hate it 😹😹😹

  • @britters314 Isn't that the truth!  (And I say that as someone whose only child is an excellent sleeper!)  I don't have any personal experience with a child who regularly wakes up that early, but my co-worker does.  She tried all sorts of things, and the only tactic that worked was leaving food in her daughter's room because her daughter will at least be quiet while she eats.  Said co-worker succeeded in conceiving another child while going through that phase with her daughter, so it worked!
