Dry mouth/increased thirst?

I’m 9.5 weeks pregnant.

I’ve been noticing I’m extra thirsty and have been waking up with dry mouth.

Has anyone else been experiencing this in their first trimester? I’ve read mixed things, that it’s normal and that it can also be a symptom of gestational diabetes.

Yes, I am more thirsty than when I was not pregnant. It isn't always a sign of diabetes.
Drink more water than you used to.

I'm constantly thirsty this time around. I drink so much water and I started drinking vitamin waters again for flavor. Trying to avoid caffeine so much again, but it's hard when I work full time and have an internship and school and two kiddos. I'm tired 🤣
