Trying to Get Pregnant

Cooking/Baking/Crafting/Making/Gardening March 2023

Re: Cooking/Baking/Crafting/Making/Gardening March 2023

  • I try to send a treat to my husband’s work on Sundays (their Friday)

    Recently I’ve sent Strawberry Lemonade cupcakes, brownies, muffins and chocolate chip cookies.

    Any suggestions?  I’m kinda drawing a blank. Nuts are ok no bananas.

  • I got this really cute planter at Disney for the pothos I bought before we left. I need an updated picture because the pothos transplanted beautifully and looks much happier now!!

  • @bumbly_b23 Aren’t you a sweet wife! I like anything that comes in bar form because I’m a lazy baker. How about some oatmeal fruit bars, like this one:

    @stashattack Adorable!
  • @bumbly_b23 The suggestion by @maggiemadeit for something in bar form gave me an idea. You could do Nanaimo bars. I think they are relatively unknown outside of Canada, so it’d be a unique treat. Unless you are in Canada, in which case everyone would probably just be really excited for them lol
  • @britters314 I’m not in Canada. Never heard of those but I found a couple recipes!!

    @maggiemadeit love the bar idea. Those sound good!
  • @maggiemadeit I made those bars and they were incredible. New staple recipe 😊
  • @bumbly_b23 So glad they were a hit!

    I am sooooo late starting my garden this year. It’s funny too because I’m usually too early. Must find the time and energy this weekend to get my seedlings started or I my garden will be all lettuce 😂
  • @maggiemadeit if we lived closer I'd give you some LOL!

    We got our tomatoes, okra, some more eggplant cuz our first batch isn't looking hot, and some more flowers!!

    Oh and some dill! It's barely been a week and I'm already like, WHERE ARE YOU!

  • @stashattack I did finally get my behind in gear and get it started yesterday. 5 types of tomatoes, basil, lettuce, broccoli, cabbage and kale for now. Can’t wait to see those little sprouts!
