How are you feeling:
Nauseated and tired. The nausea is coming in waves but super manageable right now. About week 6 is when I really start throwing up 😅

Rave: my chickens are starting to lay! It is very exciting in a house that goes through 5 dozen eggs a week minimum 😬🫠

I do! I think I have 13? I got most of them when I was young and dumb and I forget a lot of them are there lol. I definitely want a large arm piece one day of a vegetable garden, herbs, canning jars lol. Who knows when that’ll happen if ever, though 😅
Estimated Due Date / Weeks + Days: 5W 3D/ due date 11/3 based on my LMP but I’m thinking it may be a few days later because I ovulated late/my cycle was longer. I cannot wait for the first ultrasound so I can have an actual due date!

How are you feeling: SO tired. My hormones have been kind to me, until yesterday. I had a rough one yesterday. Hoping that was a one off and that they won’t be making me super irritable all the time 😬 nausea comes and goes, mostly when I’m hungry, not drinking enough water, or if I take my prenatal without food. Oh, and I gagged while brushing my teeth yesterday morning. That was fun. Hopefully that won’t happen the whole first trimester like it did with my first.

I've made an appointment with my primary care provider for tomorrow because it just occurred to me that my blood pressure meds aren't recommended for pregnant or nursing women and we'll need to make some adjustments. First ultrasound and OB appointment is 3/27. Impatiently waiting......
How are you feeling:
Tired all the time. I'm lucky to stay awake past 7:30 lately. I had a couple days' break from the nausea, but it's back now.

I have 2 -- a cross on my left wrist that says "forgiven" and an arrow on my right wrist that I got after giving birth to my oldest. I have been meaning to get another 2 arrows for my younger 2, just hadn't gotten around to it yet. Now I guess it will be 3 more. I'd also like to get a bouquet of the birth month flowers for each of my kids, either on my arm or as a shoulder piece.
Estimated Due Date / Weeks + Days: 11/09, 4+4. FF schooled me when I put in (what I believe to be) the day I was ovulating and bumped me back a few days. Super annoying but probably better in the long run haha.

How are you feeling: Better than last week mentally. I've come to a place of acceptance and now I'm just being anal retentive about POAS haha. I got a dye steeler yesterday so I think I'll probably stop soon. Maybe.
Rants / Raves: Monday blues at work - this weekend went by way too fast. But one of my big meetings got cancelled today (YAY) and my DH and I are going out to lunch before picking up the kids from school which is always a treat.

How are you feeling: terrified, both my boys were IUI and this was an utter shock. I don’t see my HPT lines getting darker, just staying the same, and I’m cramping. I have had 6 miscarriages.

Questions: I keep asking if im gonna lose this baby :-( I don’t want to go through fertility again, just one time without it would be nice!

Upcoming appointments: I had a 3rd HCG test today (waiting on results) and then will be scheduling an ultrasound. I had a partial molar pregnancy in September 2022 so we are monitoring more closely this time around.
How are you feeling: physically I am tired, and often bloated/gassy. Nausea on and off, but no vomiting yet. Mentally I don’t really feel checked in yet. Our previous loss is robbing me of a lot of the excitement of these early days.
Rants / Raves: raving about the trend toward bralettes nowadays! My boobs are so sore this time around. I can’t imagine putting them into an underwire lol
Questions: wondering if any mamas with a big age gap between kids have advice on how to tell them about their new sibling? I have a 13 year old from a previous relationship, she has been an only child. She’s never been into babies lol, any thoughts on how to tell her? We will wait until we are 12 weeks.

I have 4 tattoos and almost got a fifth one a few days ago before I knew I was pregnant. I want a few more too.

Rants / Raves: I realize getting an appointment at five weeks is earlier than most but it still feels so far away! With our daughter the fertility center monitored us every week from conception, so I got used to that.

Team Boy/Girl/Surprise: On the fence - We've been team green the past two kids, and I LOVED it. I swear it made me push harder haha but as this was a surprise pregnancy, my husband is feeling like thats all the surprise he can handle.

How are you feeling: Pretty good! I have had pretty minor symptoms all pregnancies. I'm definitely tired, and I'm having hot flashes, which is new for me.
Rants / Raves: I keep going to bed at like 9:30 because I'm so tired, and then my kids have been waking up excessively early this week. I don't know if my 1 year old is just irritated with getting his molars but I really wish this kid would sleep past 5am.

GTKY: Do you have any tattoos? If not, are there any tattoos you want? I have one from when I was 18, I've regretted it for many years. It was on my to-do list to get it removed before getting pregnant again. Whoooops.

@hihelloitsemily - I feel like we end up in low power mode in the first tri. Remind yourself that it's all temporary, do the minimal you can to get through it!

@amelias_mommy228 - I love that your daughter manifested haha. We will probably tell our moms after the first scan. We can’t tell our daughter (3) until we are ready to tell EVERYONE hah. We don’t live near our family, and we like to tell them in person, so we tell at random times. We will probably tell most of the family at Easter time.
