March Symptoms

How are we feeling this month?

Re: March Symptoms

  • Aches and pains that come and go. I'm super tired again. Getting dressed is a struggle. I'm ready to be done but also not, as we still have so much to do.
  • My pregnancy brain is next level. Ready for that to pass.
Today I'm soo sore. I moved nearly the entirety of the house furniture yesterday with minimal help so I could shampoo carpets. I'm getting to that point where the 2nd trimester bliss is simmering to the 3rd trimester sluggishness. So I'm trying to get any big projects done so all I have to focus on is maintaining and nesting.

My Kinesiology tape comes in the mail today! Hopefully that gives some relief.
Truly things are going well. Can't wait to meet this little dude.
  • I feel like that first tri exhaustion is back… I usually have clear skin but not lately. Also getting heartburn, indigestion and acid reflux more frequently which didn’t start with my daughter until the last few weeks. I’m getting to the point where food is meh.. nothing sounds good. I am anxiously awaiting the nesting phase.. I’m ready for it.
  • There is something so peaceful and satisfying about nesting. It's reminds me of plating a beautiful meal or wrapping a gift. Putting it all together and the ease of knowing, all is done. Now we wait. Soo close ladies!!!!
  • @sunny_native14 I often make lists and feel sooo accomplished I no longer feel the need to cross off said list. 🤣 my head feels clearer after. Some gain at least!

If you have back pain, highly recommend this band! I'm on my feet all day and when I get home I am so tired. I get home, wear this band, and literally have moments where I almost feel like I'm not pregnant lol such great back support!
  • @thoseboysmama a good brain dump is very satisfying 👌🏼 when I'm sitting at work on a slow day and feeling stressed about all the things I'm not at home getting done, just making a list of everything in my head and getting it tf out of there is so helpful. Sometimes the list gets attended to at home, sometimes it doesn't.
  • Aches and pains and starting to get Braxton Hicks as the days get closer to 3rd trimester makes me remember I need to rest before she is here
  • I am having a TOUGH time.  I notice it, oddly enough, in church of all places.  When I am standing I almost feel like I am going to pass out the past two weeks.  It is so strange.  I am not sure if it is the smells or lighting or what but I am able to stand for MUCH longer other places.  I get super hot and just blah.   Ugh!

  • @ReadyForaB I have passed out at a church and puked at a church. I may sound like an alcoholic but was a child one time and a pregnant lady the next. I don't know what it is about churches but they make me tired or something when I am not 100%. My brothers called me the antichrist for years because of my adverse reaction to churches. Haha let's do it outside! Where one can breath!
  • Lately I feel like I’m holding onto the outside of a roller coaster. Lots of big emotions with ups and downs in energy and had some moderate cramping the past two days. Went to dr today and ran all the tests to make sure it’s not preterm labor. I’m on the “take it really easy for a week” now. Just when I got the wind in my sails to start nesting and cleaning the house haha! This baby is moving a lot more the last week and I was able to see it from the outside for the first time the other day. So I’m taking the little joys as wins right now.
  • @zenmama06 guided meditation as I fall asleep especially directed towardds pregnancy really helps me. I have seen a difference between the pregnancies I used it and the ones I didn't.
I hope you are able to enjoy nesting soon. I'm also very happy you've been able to see baby move from the outside. Just magical!
  • @thoseboysmama Ugh!!! What is it with churches?!  I literally have these symptoms no where else.

  • I've had heartburnsince week 16 that is progressively getting worse. I can't imagine how bad it will be once I'm in my 3rd trimester 🫠
  • @knottietheknot for me it got worse each time. I woke up a few times vomiting (a very small amount) with my last 2. 🤢 good times.
    Hopefully you will fair better.
  • I am feeling better this month so far. I was working full time and doing evenings on my own, but my husband is back to working normal full time and my body is soooo thankful. I still use my back support when I get home from work. I'm also listening to my Hypnobabies tracks, which have helped me tons each pregnancy.
  • @thoseboysmama I’ve been nesting a little too. I like to focus on one room per day. I do the same room on the same day each week. Like Monday is kitchen
    tuesday is living room
    wednesday is bathrooms
    thursday is bedrooms
    friday is catch up day

i do one or two extra projects in my room each week bc I have been struggling so much to have the energy to do anything but I love when my house looks neat and clean.

it will be short lived tho, we are going to start building an addition pretty soon so my beautiful clean house will be dusty and cluttered I’m sure just before this little cuddle bug is here.
  • @francesgs I feel like the first tri exhaustion never left, maybe for a week.
  • @mommasay04 I do that too. It really helps to separate the house by days. Laundry is such a soul crusher! Haha thankfully we have wash machines. I can't imagine laundry of this scale without one. Women of the past were amazing.

This will be the 2nd baby to come without a house torn apart mid renovation. We are renovating 3 others at the moment. Living in the smaller property, dust free atleast. I requested it this time around. There was never any rest with a new born and a huge home project like that.
I'll be thinking of you. Hooray for the new addition though, always so exciting to tackle!
  • hey y’all! Feeling…. Ready to be done! But there’s still 11 weeks 🥹 The back pain and discomfort sleeping is probably the worst. Teaching all day is getting harder but the maternity band helped. I also have plantar fasciitis and my feet/ankles have been really swollen. Can anyone recommend a good shoe especially with spring coming up? Hope everyone is well, the end is near-ish!🙏🥰
  • @crosmac_4 the end is near-ish! I can hardly believe it! I’m not looking forward to teaching this last trimester, but we’ve got this! June is on the horizon!
  • @crosmac_4 ugh plantar fasciitis is no fun especially while pregnant. I hope it gets better soon. I always recommend a really good arch support insert when a client has it. Especially with spring coming and not wanting to "put" on shoes while pregnant go with a very supportive sandal if you do wear one. NewBalance makes a great sneaker for plantar fasciitis. I don't remember the name of it.
Kinesiology Tape is very affordable and can be used to help with relief. Also on the belly too.
I would recommend reflexology and working the inner meaty part of the calf, but while pregnant it could induce if not done by a professional and many professionals won't take pregnant women this far along.
    So close. Hang in there.
  • Thank you all!❤️
