What number are you trying for? 3, but first two are adopted/being adopted

Month/Cycle? 4/3

WTO/TWW? TWW

Ages of other child(ren)? 4 and 5

Any thoughts about this cycle? Good timing, but no EWCM so we’ll see. I forgot to test today, so I’ll test tomorrow.

Rant/Rave? My 5 year old has been having sleep issues, so we got him a fit bit to track his sleep and he’s been consistently waking up at 4am and not falling back asleep at all. So fun.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you pick?
H and I love the mountains, but I hate driving so I’d need great walkability and public transit. I’d probably pick Switzerland.

Rant/Rave? In one of the TTC Reddit groups someone got sent two tempdrops by accident and I managed to snag one. I just have to pay shipping! So I guess I'll be joining the BBT crowd.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you pick? I used to say by the beach but honestly now I just want a couple of acres somewhere in zones 6-8 and I'll be happy

Rant/Rave? Did I tell my 8 year old if she wanted mommy to have another baby she needed to sleep in her own room. I did. My son knows how baby's are made so he laughed at her.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you pick?

We lived in Hawaii for 3.5 years and loved it minus being unable to go anywhere. We talk about living in Texas a lot but I don't want to live in such a conservative state. I want to live somewhere warm without Hurricanes.

@britters314 we've had issues with kiddos waking up at 4 am and not going back to sleep its garbage.

@stashattack I keep seeing temp drop adds all the time and I am so interested. But also poor and knowing why I can't TTC, I got no control over the swimmers.

Ages of other child(ren)? 2.5. Potty training is NOT fun.

Any thoughts about this cycle? Just trying to hold it together. This week, our daughter's day care is closed for 3 out of 5 days (in a university town, spring break is a BIG deal), my chiropractor's office is closed until Friday (see above), our attempts to potty-train our daughter are failing miserably (she loves the peanut butter M&Ms we give her when she sits on the potty, but refuses to go in it even when offered more of said M&Ms if she does, at the cost of a major bowel accident this afternoon) - and this while I'm transitioning off of my anti-anxiety meds because it's better to be off them in case I get pregnant. Somehow, we still managed to BD on my 3 most fertile days. I have no idea how.

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you pick? United Kingdom, no questions asked. I'm a proud American, but also the kind of lifelong Anglophile who was glued to the TV when the late Queen died last year - and wrote my 11th-grade English term paper about her!

@geekprincess26 When we potty trained my younger kiddo, we did the method where you have them stripped from the waist down and if you see them start to pee, rush them to the potty. It definitely helped him make the association quicker. Maybe that would work for your daughter?

@geekprincess26 potty train like mambo, mambo doesn't potty train early. All my kids were like magically potty trained at 3. Poof MAGIC. My youngest kid we took on vacation and she potty trained herself there.

Regarding anxiety meds, there are types you can take while pregnant. If you need them, I truly believe that there can be such a huge benefit to them. Mambo has the anxiety, she needs the meds.

@britters314 Yes, I've heard of that method, and we actually did it today with our daughter. Still no success, but we're going to keep at it and update her day care teachers on the situation so they can (we hope) give her extra potty time over the next couple of weeks.

@mambo5-2 Ha! Your post reminded me of what I said to my husband earlier today, which is that I'm sure she'll be trained by 3 or so. We realize it may take a while, but she clearly understands what's going on, and I think that she just needs to get over her natural fear of changes in her routine. At that point, I think it will click for her.

I'm actually doing OK today after 3 days without my anti-anxiety meds, which is the longest I've gone yet without it, so FX I'm over the worst of the transition. If I need to, I know I can set up a telemedicine appointment with my doctor to try a different drug.

AFM, I spotted today, which is highly unusual for me since I'm only at 7 dpo. I got a bit excited about the possibility of implantation bleeding until I reviewed my prior charts on FF and discovered that I'd spotted at about the same point in another cycle in 2019, and I didn't get pregnant during that cycle. Darn. Maybe I'll be able to come back later and eat my words.

@geekprincess26 Yeah it took a couple days of that for our kiddo, but we did it during the COVID lockdowns, so it’s not like we had anything else to do lol
