The week's almost over and I'm pretty sure I'm currently the only one here, but just in case anyone joins in over the weekend I'm going to go ahead and get this started.
Estimated Due Date / Weeks + Days: November 1 - 4w2d
FTM/STM/STM+: Fourth-time mama.
Team Boy/Girl/Surprise: Too soon to know -- I currently have 2 girls and 1 boy, and would love for DS to have a brother because he's outnumbered right now (even the dogs are girls).
Interesting baby fact / Baby is the size of: Apparently, today baby is the size of a braille dot.
Upcoming appointments: My first appointment & dating ultrasound are scheduled for March 27. It feels like so far away.
How are you feeling: Mostly tired. Morning sickness has kicked in over the past couple of days, more so than it did with my previous pregnancies but still not severe. I mainly just stay nauseous all day but don't actually get sick.
Rants / Raves: Baby apparently hates peanut butter, which sucks because it's Reese's egg season. (But give me ALL of the chips and salsa.)
Questions: Any other "advanced maternal age" moms here? This is my first pregnancy after 35, so I'm a little anxious.
Estimated Due Date / Weeks + Days: November 7/3 weeks 4 days
FTM/STM/STM+: STM with one DD 13 years old
Team Boy/Girl/Surprise: I’m team surprise! But my husband is team find out. Not really hoping for a specific gender
Interesting baby fact / Baby is the size of: nothing so far!
Upcoming appointments: I just emailed my doctor today, so hopefully I will have something scheduled soon!
How are you feeling: Nervous, and excited emotionally. Physically feeling some mild nausea and breast tenderness
Rants / Raves: Nothing yet! I’m still in disbelief so I’m taking two pregnancy tests a day lol It’s been crazy to watch the progression of the positive line since Tuesday when it very faintly popped up.
Estimated Due Date / Weeks + Days: 4weeks2days Due date: 11/3/23
FTM/STM/STM+: I have two boys 5 and 2
Team Boy/Girl/Surprise: too early to tell
Interesting baby fact / Baby is the size of: a poppyseed
Upcoming appointments: first ultrasound on 3/27/23
How are you feeling: had a miscarriage before my second son, so I am anxious for sure. Pregnancy symptoms: I am super exhausted and fatigued, a lot of lower back pain and crampy. I’ve read with each subsequent pregnancy, crampy and pelvic pain happens earlier and more intense…yay. But I am excited and feeling bittersweet since this will be our last baby
Rants / Raves: n/a
Questions: any moms with multiple children having the cramping and back pain already?
I think I’m 4 weeks and 3 days? I’m due the 2nd or 3rd. I don’t remember lol
FTM/STM/STM+:
I have two girls
Team Boy/Girl/Surprise:
It doesn’t matter. We are pretty comfortable as a girl house lol. My husband is completely adored and the favorite at all times 😂 but a boy would be fun.
Interesting baby fact / Baby is the size of:
Baby is the size of a poppy seed. I knew I was pregnant because my boobs hurt like a sonofab lol
Upcoming appointments:
Nothing yet. I’m waiting another week or so before I make my first appointment
How are you feeling:
Nervous. Cautiously excited. TW: I have a history of losses. This feels very much like when I had my girls and nothing like my losses but I’m still very nervous. Also shock. We were definitely not trying.
Rants / Raves:
Rant, I have a daughter in a wheel chair and people that park in the loading zones of handicap spaces irritate my soul. Also people that block the ramp while sitting in the pick up line at her school. Friend, we need that ramp lol.
Questions:
Anyone else bracing themselves for severe vomiting? I get it super bad. Like can’t keep down water lol. 3 months of vomiting all day every day. Anyone else like that and immediately look up the dates of the second trimester? Cause I did 😂. I just need to that light at the end of the tunnel 😅
