How are you feeling: Still nauseous all the time. I've compared it to feeling hungover constantly, except without the headache

Rants / Raves: It is sunny and warm today and it feels like spring is coming (even though I know it's going to be cold again by the end of the week)

Questions: none

GTKY: What is on your bucket list? A trip to New Zealand. It's been on my list since I was a teenager and I just haven't been able to swing it yet. And now that we're going to have 2 kids, it's probably going to be a few years still!

How are you feeling: the hunger/nausea has hit so that’s fun

Rants / Raves: I start a 4.5 week training (I’m the trainer) and I’m so not looking forward to it now that I’m pregnant. I will be working all day and then training Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s from 6-9pm

How are you feeling: Definitely more emotional and smell sensitive.

Rants / Raves: My daughter is obsessed with going down the slide at the playground. So last week I sat her at the top of the slide and then ran down this jungle-gym to get to the bottom to catch her.... and I popped my knee. It's a little puffy and stiff but I am reaaaaalllyyy hoping that it will be ok. I do not need a knee injury while pregnant and running after an almost toddler.

Questions: I am considering getting a doula for this birth (I didn't have one for the first). Anyone have thoughts/experiences with doulas?

GTKY: What is on your bucket list? I really want to go to Japan. I love Japanese art, textiles, and food.

Team Boy/Girl/Surprise: if I had to guess - boy. But we are fine with either (I have one of each already)

Interesting baby fact / Baby is the size of: the opening of a straw.

Upcoming appointments: I have an early pregnancy appointment with a new doctor to discuss moving my care (we are moving) on Friday. If I don’t like them, I may keep my care by our old house. We decided to keep our house (not sell) and just rent in our new area, and I’ll have a planned c section so that’s possible. Us on 3/14 with my normal doctor.

How are you feeling: already starting to get nausea. I had one really bad episode where I threw up 150+ times in 12 hours and landed in the hospital so we are staying ahead of it with medication.

Rants / Raves: we are visiting Boston this week! So much fun but so busy!

Questions: anyone started looking at infant car seats? That’s like the only thing I need to replace.

GTKY: What is on your bucket list? I’d love to do a cruise with my husband. We are trying to plan it for our ten year anniversary.

@alpacamama2 for a vaginal birth a doula was super helpful. I had one for my first. Doula match can help you find a good fit!

Estimated Due Date / Weeks + Days: changed to Sept 30 from Oct 3, so further than we though! 8 weeks + 5

Upcoming appointments: March 17

How are you feeling: Ok I guess considering everything. Nauseous off and on and I really never know what will sit well with me and what won't.

Rants / Raves: we were able to have our ultrasound on Friday and saw the heartbeat ❤️ that was enough to lift my spirits.

Questions: had anyone every down in the 30s week pregnancy range? I'm a little nervous because I'll be traveling to have our baby in my home country but that was the time frame we could afford to be away from home. Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

GTKY: What is on your bucket list? I've always wanted to be able to speak 6 languages (not sure why 6, but that's the number I chose when I was a teenager) maybe one day that will happen? So far I can speak 4 fluently because of being in immersion for school and traveling/living abroad. Now that I'm settled down it might be more of a challenge to get my last two.

@charmedlifex3 I'm also looking for a good car seat, preferably one that can also be used on an airplane. If you end up finding any good/affordable brands please share 😀 right now we have an adjustable one for our 9 month old which is great because he should fit it until 10 years old but can only be used with a 3-point buckle (so no lap belt or airplane seats)

@sawasap I explained the nausea to DH that way and I think he now gets it.

@izza2 it’s been so long since I’ve been pregnant that I have completely forgotten how terrible it can be.

@charmedlifex3 Thanks for recommending doula match! I have a few options written down already.

@AmMcc12 still hurts and is def swollen. It is tough to rest it while trying to keep up with a newly walking 1-year-old 😩. I am still optimistic tho. I've had a bunch of knee surgeries already and I really don't think I've torn anything this time 🤞

How are you feeling: I'm ok, pretty tired from when my DS comes home, some nausea that increases from late afternoon into the evening.

Rants / Raves: I had a follow-up scan today and we could see baby and his little heart beat! So I got discharged from the ER's 1st trimester care. My rant would be that they didn't print out a picture and I didn't think to take one of the screen.

Questions: NATM but @charmedlifex3 you made me realize I also need to get a new infant carseat. We'll probably go with another uppababy mesa. It's so light and the only one I might attempt to lift on my own after my c section. I also think we'll keep our Vista stroller so that would make it easy .

GTKY: What is on your bucket list? I don't know 🤔 We've been talking about taking a 1 year leave in the next years to Greece, that or retiring there.
