Rant/Rave?
Rant: I posted last week about how close we are to adopting our younger kiddo. Well, a complication came up and since the courts are so slow, it’s going to delay the adoption by probably another 6 months, so that was pretty upsetting.
Rave: After seeing Les Mis this past weekend, I just really want to take my older son to a show. He does dance and theater so it’s right up his alley. There are a couple kid-friendly shows happening this year, so we might try it out!

GTKY: What is the first thing you’d do if you won the lottery?
Probably buy a new house. We love our house, but we’d prefer a different neighborhood.

Rant/Rave? We just went on a cruise with the kiddos last week. It was so fun. Disney definitely knows how to do a cruise.

Any thoughts about this cycle? This is my first cycle trying low-level laser therapy - hoping it works for me as well as it did for so many women in the initial round of studies!

Rant/Rave? Just found out I have an AMH of 0.37 - normal for my 41-year-old body, but overall very low. This will be my miracle baby if I do conceive.

@mambo5-2 I’ve only cruised as an adult without kiddos - how was it with littles? What’s the youngest age you’d recommend?

@britters314 so sorry for the adoption delay! We just took our littles to a cirque show. Not the same as musicals, obviously, but they both loved it! Hope yours loves the shows, too

Any thoughts about this cycle? Hoping it gets back to normal soon. Not sure if it’s an an-O cycle or just super late o. Little one getting canines and comfort nursing I’m sure isn’t helping.

Rant/Rave? Rant - our e-bike was stolen last week and there’s apparently nothing to do about it other than file a report and hope. Feels very, something. Not sure what the word is, but ugh. Rave - on vacation this week

GTKY: What is the first thing you’d do if you won the lottery? Start making travel plans! Would definitely take a year sabbatical to travel the work with the family, then do the responsible thing and invest, pay off house, etc.

@halfanewt So sorry about your e-bike! I’ve heard that homeowner’s insurance will sometimes cover a stolen bike, even if it wasn’t stolen from your home. FX the police are able to find it!

@halfanewt. OUCH! I'm impressed that you continue to breastfeed your child under those circumstances. And I'm sorry to hear about your bike; I hope your insurance company covers your loss completely.

AFM, I ran out of OPKs this morning, so I'll be relying solely on my Mira hormone analyzer from here on out. It's given me a much more detailed picture of my cyclical hormone patterns, including ovulation patterns, than OPKs ever could, so I'm fine with that. All of my levels were low again today, so FX I get my peak during the next 3 days or so - TTC is so much easier when I ovulate on the weekends!

@britters314 boo on the adoption being delayed. As someone who worked in child welfare, I always wanted my littles adopted as quickly as possible when it went that way and I hated all the hoops.

@geekprincess26 let me know how you feel about the lasers.

@halfanewt I probably wouldn't cruise with kiddos before they were potty trained but my kids had a blast. I didn't see my 10 year old he spent all his time in the tween club.

Rant/Rave? Disney was a blast. Magic kingdom was hard. So many people. Grands didn't have realistic expectations. But holy wood studios was amazing!!! It's was so updated since when I was a teen!! Omg the Star Wars area was amazing.

Rant: I'm ready to drop the grandmas off. They are driving me crazy. Lol

GTKY: What is the first thing you’d do if you won the lottery? Sell our house and buy property to build a house and have a small homestead! And expand our microgreens business!

@stashattack I feel your pain. I always ovulate between CD12 and CD18, but most often between CD13 and CD15. I was hoping that the latter would be the case this cycle, since that would mean doing our BDing over the weekend instead of during the (very hectic) week, but here I am at CD14, monitoring my hormone levels ever so carefully, and nada. Negative OPKs, low LH, the works. Yay. Looks like another round of weeknight BDing for us.

On the plus side, I'm happy that you're having such an awesome vacation (minus the grandmas)! I went to Disney back in 1990 as a little girl, but I know they've added a ton of new things since then, and I love hearing about all of them from those lucky enough to go in person. Glad to hear about the SW section - I'm a huge fan and can't wait to go in a few years based on everything I've heard!
