2 1/2 year old fears loud noises and alot more

Hello! I’m wondering if other parents are going through the same thing, and if so, how do you cope with this. My 2 1/2 year old has been scared of loud noises since she was a baby. It has now worsened as now she is scared familiar sounds (like a loud car in our neighbourhood, train passing…). She is also communicating when she is scared, which we are happy about but sometimes it’s for very simple things. We try not to make a big deal out of the situation and explain the noises to her, but sometimes she is very unconsolable. I’m wondering if any parents have any advise of how to deal with this.
