Maternity Clothes

Anyone else struggling to find cute pregnancy clothes?? Only place I have shopped is “Motherhood Maternity” online, however, their clothes are expensive and take over 2 weeks to get to me. I’m in New York. I heard Kohl’s has cute clothes but I haven’t checked their maternity section yet.

Re: Maternity Clothes

  • I've bought a couple of tops from Amazon that have been fabulous, comfortable and cute, and fairly priced. Things I can wear postpartum and possibly afterwards too. I also bought a pair of dress pants from a thrift store... sticking to loose dresses I already had as much as possible because I don't want to spend much money on maternity clothes.

  • *lurking* ThredUp is good for inexpensive stuff.
    Current pregnancy -
First BFP on 1/4/22.  Due date 9/13/22.

Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.

  • I’m having the same problem!  At least in 2015 when I was pregnant I could go browse in stores and try on.  Now most things seem to be online.  I also hate the full front panel which most pants seem to be.  I did get a pair of jeans from target online and shirts from Amazon.  That’s all I got so far.  Hoping for warmer weather soon so I can just do dresses and skirts.
  • One thing I’ve found is that I can get huge bundles of clothes from others moms via Facebook or in my community. It’s helped me save a lot and I just go through and take what I like and pass on the rest!
  • Ive been having a hard time as well considering almost everything now a days in online VS instore. Old navy has removed their instore maternity section and is strictly online. I went to H&M and found a small section of pants, Leggings and dresses. I bought 2 denim maternity pants and 3 Leggings. Total was about $150. If that sounds reasonable to you then I'd try there.
  • I’ve seen a lot of cute options! I’ve been renting from NUULY, rent the runway also has clothes, ordered pants from amazon and target as well.
  • My hairdresser told me about pink blush maternity. They’re online and a little pricier than kohls or target for example, but I got stuff that was on sale and the quality seems better than the stuff I got from target. I got them for work since I need nicer clothes for it and will wear them frequently (at least a few times a week for the next 6 months). I couldn’t find any cute business casual work clothes at target or kohls.
  • Got old navy jeans that fit for under $20
  • I second bhobson64. I have bought most mine second hand, some items even still have tags on them.
The items I have bought in store have been 2 nice pairs of jeans (Ross and H&M) and 2 nice pair of leggings (Beyond Yoga).
  • I am struggling to find cute spring / summer maternity clothes.  🌸 🌺 ☀️ I have a daughter playing softball and another one playing soccer so a lot of time will be spent outside at games and practices.  Looking for cute, comfy, and cool (I live in South Texas).  The full panel is driving me crazy and making me hot 🥵

  • My sister in law had the same problem corpuscutie! She wore a lot of dresses if that’s something you are comfortable in. I think she got most of them from old navy
  • @mama_wils That’s a good idea.  Thanks for sharing.

  • I found a bunch of cute clothes at Kohl’s actually! They were having a big sale last week, probably still are, so got a lot of cute jeans and tops!! Definitely recommend. I saved more money than I spent! (Spent $137 on 13 things, but saved $192!). We hung the receipt on the fridge because we were so proud hahaha.
  • anybody have a good recommendation for plus size maternity clothes?  I was XL before pregnancy but XL stuff has been too small on me.  Help!
  • I've bought a bunch of stuff on Facebook marketplace.  I wasn't having much luck online--so expensive, plus I have no clue on sizing and a lot of stores don't accept free returns.  Several moms have been selling items for $5 each or giant bags for cheap.  I was able to get a mix of things including tops, jeans, dresses for $5 each.  Still looking to get a few more dresses for the summer, but we still have snow here so no rush for those now.
