After a week with Covid, we’re all finally healthy again! Everyone was SO ready to return to daycare today.

Upcoming appointments: First appt w/ our OB on Friday for an ultrasound and going to get the NIPT to find out the gender
How are you feeling?: Nausea has subsided so that’s been nice. Just sooooo tired still and getting headaches by the end of the work day

GTKY: If you could have any super power in the world, what would it be?: Teleportation since I have family all over and would love to be able to see them more often without the cost/time of travel

Upcoming appointments: i have an appointment monday but planning on rescheduling to a different office location
How are you feeling? nausea will sometimes let up for up to a few hours every few days now. its nice. still headaches constantly, sometimes they get better with sleep and sometimes they just persist. and tired. so tired.
Raves/Rants: i got my hair done yesterday for the first time in 6 months. it feels amazing, i feel so put together. also excited to have the nipt cooking.

GTKY: If you could have any super power in the world, what would it be? invisibility, like, my entire mass is gone, not that you just can't see me. and then i can just pop up somewhere else, lol.
@mokamonster things are piling up around here too. and the to do list, i cant even talk about it. i just try to make sure there are no emergencies.

How are you feeling? Sore breasts are a pain at night and the prenatal vitamins are causing some serious constipation. Other than that feeling great!!

How are you feeling? Awful. The morning sickness is nonstop, and diclegis is only helping minimally. I'm so ready for this part to be done.
Raves/Rants: My husband just tested positive for covid. We're isolating, masking, doing all the things, but obviously I'm still worried. I do NOT want to deal with covid on top of regular pregnancy symptoms. 😭

How are you feeling? I had the worst symptoms at the beginning of the week, but it got so much better since than.
Raves/Rants: In early December, I had scheduled time off next week. I'm so glad I did! I will be able to not stress about work and sleep a bit more for a week!

Upcoming appointments: NIPT on Monday!! So freaking anxious to get the results back and know if it’s at least more likely that everything is okay. Gentle reminder to anyone who says that the NIPT is to find out gender, that that’s not actually its purpose, and a (very small) group of people (who never expected to, because the chances are so low) actually get the worst news of their whole entire life from those test results. Not that anyone should ever expect bad news from it because it’s such a small chance, but it’s hurtful as someone whose been on the other side to hear people say that its entire purpose is to find out gender and that’s the only reason they’re doing it. I know finding out the gender is exciting, and it’s awesome they can do it so much earlier than they even could 10 years ago when it wasn’t a routine test, but, it’s not its purpose. You can be excited for finding out gender and also recognize it’s a test for chromosome abnormalities. Sorry for the rambling, and not trying to rain on anyone’s parade, just lots of feelings on this…
How are you feeling? A little better the last couple of days, but I’ve had awful nausea every afternoon/evening the last week or so. Exhausted, starving, the usual.
Raves/Rants: Got out a pair of maternity leggings since I’ve felt so bloated this week, and that was a good decision. Also, found baby on my Doppler for about 5 seconds yesterday!

How are you feeling? I am feeling ok. Exhausted and no motivation to work but the nausea is under control (maybe seabands, maybe coincidence, don’t care because I can function). I could barely move Sunday and Monday and started the seabands on Monday evening. I’ve been functioning ever since then. So yay. See if it lasts.
Raves/Rants: my son has an operation today so I’ve been busy this week preparing and I’m so nervous. I couldn’t sleep last night and I’m just laying here awake now. He will be put under general anesthesia for it. 🥲

@runningyogimama I can't wait for the day to hear the heartbeat! I've contemplated buying a dopler for home because they literally won't spend more than 5 seconds with you in China to use the doppler. Do you recommend buying one?

@daniellesubler I think I have to change my answer to teleportation for that same reason. A 14-hour flight back home doesn't sound as nice as a second of teleporting!

How are you feeling? EXHAUSTED. And nauseous, and heartburn, but relieved to see baby again this past Friday.
Raves/Rants: MH is a saint, I’ve sent the vast majority of today laying in bed. Granted I’ll be home with our toddler Monday as her preschool is closed.
