Spotting/Bleeding

I am 5 weeks 4 days and just started bleeding this morning. It stopped for about 5 hours and now is back. It’s very light, can’t fill a pad and only when I wipe.

I’ve had a miscarriage, then I had 2 babies (now 3 and 1.5 years old), I just miscarried in August 2023 and this is my first pregnancy since that miscarriage.

I’ve never experienced spotting during my pregnancies. Is it possible that this is spotting?

I got my HCGs drawn today and will get them drawn again Monday. I really want this to be a viable pregnancy.

    I also have very slight/minimal cramping. Mostly when I’m sitting doing nothing, if I’m busy doing something - I don’t notice it. Ugh this is hard!

    Hey @knottie -- we have a stickied thread dedicated to bleeding/spotting if you want to share and update there to keep the board from getting cluttered. You'll see many others have and are going through the same!

    Spotting is normal during pregnancy, especially early on, and if you're not filling a pad (especially if it's only when you wipe), that's what it sounds like it is. Fingers crossed for a sticky baby!
