Um, you do realize baby is just the size of a peach - right? I did not start showing until 27 weeks - relaxx. Enjoy this time that you are not uncomfortable with a bowling ball in your uterus right now.
One could take the fact that you didnt show until 27 weeks as a "gloat" @harpseal135. 🤔 Gee, muth be nith 🙃 but any level headed nice person can see, that was just your experience. Go you!
@alschw01 Everyone is obviously different. The more babies you have the sooner you tend to show. During pregnancy, it's hard, but try not to worry about looks or the scale. So long as your appts are going well and everything is progressing and your OB sees no concern. I've had friends barely show even at the end, while I'm a pregnant orangutan. 🤣 see pictures online. Congratulations on your baby!
Honestly I would say it wasn't until maybe 15-16 weeks in pregnancy that I looked pregnant regardless of what position I was in (standing, sitting, whatever) and regardless of what clothing I was wearing. Which actually was about this time last year for me so it was hard to tell underneath hoodies and such with the cold winter haha. I did start showing around the 12/13 week mark but it wasn't very obvious or you could sorta tell only at the right angle.
Your body shape and size will play a factor. Larger or heavier women may not show until further into their 2nd trimester. If you have a long torso it can also take longer. Consider the number of women who don't know they're pregnant until they're giving birth. You have a lot more room internally than you think and babies can sometimes grow more upward than outward. If you're an athlete sometimes the abs are strong enough to hold baby in longer too. Having a tilted uterus can also make it take longer for a bump to appear because the uterus needs to come forward from it's normal position.
As it's been said, there are lots of reasons you may not show at 13 weeks and that's okay!

No not at all. I didn’t have any bump until 16 weeks when it was more like a wee pooch. I’m now 20 weeks today and my belly is round and really blossoming. I love rubbing my belly everyday and realising that it’s going to get bigger and bigger each week. Good luck
