Yes! I remember the name Christmas Cactus. Not sure of the other name lol. I'll have to ask my mom if hers had flowers. I'm sure it did but I just don't remember. I love how that triggered a random memory.
The one in the photo is actually just a piece of the big one we have and that didn't get flowers! I guess the trick is to keep it in the dark for a while. It should bloom a couple times a year.
@seeds_of_joy talking with my mom and she said hers is a Thanksgiving cactus and it does bloom twice a year. Thanksgiving and Easter. She also said she only waters it once a week but if she forgets it starts to bud more 🤷🏻♀️
@kamays54 thanksgiving cactus 😆 It must depend on where you live! Ours bloomed in January for some reason. I think they get confused. I don't remember when the big one last bloomed and I skipped it's weekly watering a couple times. I have that one hanging in a corner that gets a little light from 4 different windows at different times during the day and I love watching how it reaches for wherever the light comes in! Right now it's drooping because it's dark.
1 1/2 cm today and 50% effaced. Some progress from last week. I have an appt Tuesday and I’m due Wednesday. Will be induced Friday if she doesn’t come by then. Really hoping she comes so I don’t have to be induced. I’ll be 40+2 then and my first came at 40+3. So really praying she comes on her own between now and then
