    I'm not feeling well at all. My gallbladder is acting up and my stomach feels wonky. I decided to give the kids each a task to start dinner without me and at first there was chaos and yelling but now it sounds like they're all doing their parts. ๐Ÿ˜ Maybe I can get them to do the entire meal! It'll be a good test run for after the baby comes.ย

    I don't know what's going on here but the food is almost ready, nobody died, and the 6 year old figured he was more useful carrying up flooring to Dad.ย

    I had postpartum anxiety with my first baby. I have a few ideas of what I can do differently this time around to maximize sleep and minimize stress.ย 
    - Not tracking every detail of feeds, poops, etc.
    -Incorporating some bottle feeding so I can have some longer stretches of sleep.
    Any other tips or ideas?

    Well, I just got back from my appointment and wish I would have progressed more. Iโ€™m still just 1cm dilated, but my cervix is very thin and his head is very low. I did a membrane sweep, but I feel like Iโ€™m going to be stuck being pregnant until my induction next Wednesday. I cried at the appointment. I couldnโ€™t tell you if it was because of the membrane sweep pain, anxiety from just not wanting to be pregnant anymore, or anxiety from realizing that I will soon need to raise a child and I have no idea what Iโ€™m doing. Iโ€™m a bit of a mess in this final stretch.

    @karbaud I'm sorry that you are feeling down. The membrane sweep was very effective for bringing baby for me the first time. I hope that it brings you closer to birth too. All of the things that you mentioned are a lot to cope with. Hang in there. โค๏ธ

    @karbaud my emotions are definitely running high right now, too. Iโ€™ve been having prodromal labor and every time contractions fade out again itโ€™s miserably demoralizing. And this evening I almost cried over our takeout pizza not being ready on time. I hope the membrane sweep does it for you and you can avoid a more intensive induction!

    @karbaud Iโ€™m so sorry. I remember with my first. I was 1cm for like 3 weeks then the night she decided to make her appearance things progressed quickly. Hang in there. ๐Ÿ’œย 

    They mentioned doing a cervical check at my next appt Monday (it would be my first check) but Iโ€™m also nervous that Iโ€™ll be disappointed too with my induction scheduled for the next Monday.ย

    @karbaud the final stretch is such a jumble of emotions. ย Sorry it was a tough appointment. ย Your sweet little one will be here soon and all this will be a memory. I say this to remind myself as well. We are all amazing women and will make it through this!!ย

    @karbaud so sorry youโ€™re feeling overwhelmed! I second what everyone else said. Plus, when baby gets here you will figure out your own rhythm and youโ€™ll be able to take care of them. Youโ€™re going to do great, and I hope the membrane sweep works for you!ย
