hCG Levels

hCG check!

I took the below chart from americanpregnancy.org cause I couldn't find one on TB, but if someone has a better one, I can update. hCG charts vary so take it with a grain of salt and ranges can be extremely wide so if you're not within the range, it doesn't necessarily mean something's wrong, but if you're concerned a professional opinion is best imo!

3 wks: 5-50
4 wks: 5-426
5 wks: 18-7,340
6 wks: 1,080-56,500
7-8 wks: 7,650-229,000
9-12 wks: 25,700-288,000
13-16 wks: 13,300-254,000
17-24 wks: 4,060-164,400
25-40 wks: 3,640-117,000

Please let me know if this should fall under a different category/discussion as I couldn't determine based on the rule thread and didn't see another similar existing thread. Thank you!

That being said, yesterday at 5w2-3d (unsure), my hCG results came back at a solid 7,451 a bit on the high end but it was high during my last pregnancy as well and my doctor wasn't concerned.

What is everyone else's hCG levels?

    I just had mine Thursday at 5w1d and it was 3210. I hope that is considered normal, it’s so hard to tell since the range is so wide. My OB doesn’t see patients until Wk 8, so I’m anxiously awaiting that appt in a few weeks!

    That sounds well within range! I think the range is so wide cause it's supposed to double every day or 2 and they're measuring the entire week so it grows exponentially week to week. Of course I'm sure it also differs from pregnancy to pregnancy!

    @saybae probably not. These are the ranges Quest Diagnostic provides. 

    Gestational Age Expected hCG values (mIU/mL)
    <1 Week: 5-50
    1-2 Weeks: 50-500
    2-3 Weeks: 100-5000
    3-4 Weeks: 500-10000
    4-5 Weeks: 1000-50000
    5-6 Weeks: 10000-100000
    6-8 Weeks: 15000-200000
    2-3 Months: 10000-100000

    Yea the ranges I provided is just an example and they vary from lab to lab it's such a wide range it seems hard to narrow down! Def still a possibility though!

    Got my results for today's 6w1d blood test and hCG is at 28,185 - my nurse said baby is "going for a ride"!

    got a 4th HCG draw yesterday, 4w4d -- 1,656
    my doubling time is 34 hours, and my RE says everything "looks promising"

    my other draws were 22 at 3w2d, 69 at 3w4d and 236 at 4w
