20weeks and it’s kind of painful

Hi! 

Soon to be first time mom here! 
It seems like the last week and a half have been full of discomfort and at times pain. I know my uterus has to stretch in order to accommodate my son but I am wondering if this is common (the pain) and/or how long it has lasted for other moms. 

I’ve done the baths, pillow between the legs, and hot water bottle along with ensuring I drink water. 

Just looking for something! 

Next appt is this coming wednesday.

    Welcome! I've had this feeling too, like my baby is trying to escape out of the front of my stomach. Sometimes he sits really low and it makes bending over especially painful. Typically the rule of thumb is if the pain goes away when you change positions or after a few minutes, it's normal, but you should always bring up concerns to your provider.

    You're not alone, I have insane pain and I've done this 3 times!! I'm not her fan, her family's really weird BUT look up on youtube Anna Saccone trimester workouts, she has them for all the trimesters and they have helped relieve my pain by a ton!!
